TASTE TEST 2K23: WTF IS MAUVE FANTA?

 Apologies If you are still waiting for MLW War Chamber, But as I said before, It's complicated! So until Ayozat or MLW can agree on a date, it's doesn't change the fact that this review was scheduled to be today: This year's Mystery Fanta-A Purple Hued Concoction-Let's call this shade "Mauve"

WTFANTA 2023 "MAUVE"

Calorie Count: 15cal in a Recommended 250ml Serving (However for Review Purposes I'm Drinking a Shot-glass of this!)

Flavour: as Stated In Ingredients (As it is the law to State an Allergen) Radish, Green Apple, Cherry and the Offending Article, Sweet Potato!)

Taste: Before I Start, I must tell you How hard it was to find a can or 250 bottle of this. So my only option was to buy the 1 and a half litre Bottle, or not do this review at all! Enough Stalling, I Open the bottle and pour a shot glass

Very Bubbly Drink, quick Pour, Settles in glass as a very Opaque Colour, Spicy Bouquet with Green Apple Scent making an Appearance.

I drink the shot and I Paused. Only to come back an hour to my notebook on how to describe this flavour. It's Not Spicy-Despite Evidence to the Contrary, The Green Apple does can a crispness, The Cherry and Sweet potato, Who in last year's Flavour had your Taste Buds Vying for Attention by the way the former yielded to the latter! Now sit inactive in this flavour that tastes-Medicinal?

Yes Exactly! I HAVE IT ALL SEWN UP!

That's how it Tastes! Like Medicine! Like a Lozenge! Enough Flavour to Register Some kind of taste, But not Enough Flavour to be Counted as a sweet! It Also possibly due to the Radish, has a Milky Aftertaste that is Very Off-putting.

TASTE TEST 2K22: WTF IS IN PINK WTFANTA

 (Disclaimer for International Fans, Since i grew up in Ireland's Midland Counties, We Colloquially Call Fizzy drinks or Sodas "Minerals". I type it a few times in this review and it will confuse people into thinking it's a mineral water. No it's just a regional Colloquialism!)

So last year I was going to review the Blue Mystery Fanta, I had a review all ready waiting in the wings....until I drank that Rasher Flavoured Slurry!

Yes! Last year they sprang Bacon soda onto an unsuspecting Society

Thus year however, Fanta has Claimed that this year's Mystery Flavour is 3 Flavours, So the reason thus was delayed for 2 weeks was only one shop in Enniscorthy sold this item if we take Coca Cola's word that the Mineral contains 3 FLAVOURS and not 3 INGREDIENTS, I was only in access to one shop and therefore, one flavour, (however that was not the case, As I was to find to find out!) 

They Wrote what's in it on the Bottle!

From the Horse's Mouth, it's Written that the Drink Contains Concentrates of Cherry, Carrot and Sweet Potato.

But in quanity? we are Told there is 3 Flavours Of Mineral and Not 3 Ingredients, are they separate or they a Combination to throw People Off?

Enough Stalling let's get into It!

3 BOTTLES OF PINK WTFANTA? MINERAL 

Colour: Unnatural Shocking Pink!

Calorie Count: All Bottle claim to be 15 Calories in 2  Half Bottle Servings Or 30 calories a Bottle if we are Splitting Hairs!

Packaging: Nothing to Write Home about, Pink Label with Question Mark where the icon of a Fruit would be, It was Pointed out and i Didn't notice it at the time but each bottle I had contained the Slogan in 3 different Coloured Text Boxes So is it a Differential or a Bluff?

It's A Bluff!

Taste: I pour a Shot Glass of Pink Liquid from my first Bottle, One with a Red Textbox. I inspect the Contents, A Berry-Like Fragrance, Light Carbonization,with A Bubbly Pour. Now to the Taste.

Well, That was Certainly Unique!

A light Crisp, Cherry Flavour, That Yields Quickly into Sweet Potato and Carrot, that hits you both at once, You'll be mistaking to think this was Turnip. Simply Put The Cherry Opens the door and Sweet Potato and Carrot Barges In! But I need to Confirm that This the Only flavour. So i Clean a second Shot glass and pour from my bottle with the green Textbox and Confirm that indeed it's the same flavour. I didn't open the 3rd. i was Satisfied with my answers.

The Reason they revealed the Flavours in the ingredients is that it is now the law to reveal ingredients that are allergens. Appartently, and i didn't know this, But there is such a thing as a Starch Allergy. so if you are Allergic to Potatoes then avoid this.
