Winter schedule 2017

After Summerslam, Things will slow down a bit, much like the hours getting shorter. Clearly my goal of a 400th post will go unfinished until next year! Still i have a lot for you until i close the towers for Christmas.

A DROUGHT OF WRESTLING 
Due to Family Commitments, my own plans for October and #GOBSHITEFORCE peddling non televised Matches from 2 years ago as a series of 4 ppvs, the next time you'll hear from me as a wrestling writer will be on November for Bound For Glory! THEME MONTH

SUMMERSLAM 2017: NO SLEEPER HOLDS TIL BROOKLYN

Summerslam is the biggest event in summer months, however this year's show was a mixed affair.

1st the Preshow. Due to The Arena Not Opening Early (It's not like this EXACT! event has being here twice already and is on the third year of a 5 year agreement! OH WAIT!), There was barely any fans to watch the Miz's Match. and i was relishing that fact, since Miz's matches tend to be a Pavlovian Response to go for a piss anyway-hence the Toilet Break Championship! Poor Hardys working an empty arena, it's like they never left TNA! GOBSHITOURAGE WON! IN WHAT PEOPLE ARE CALLING MIZ'S WORST MATCH! I DUNNO...

THAT'S A PRETTY LONG LIST

THE DOUCHESOS Won the sdlive! tag belts back...for reasons! and Akira Tozawa lost the belt back to Neville...because reasons!

To the main show, Losing the Money In The Bank Briefcase had made Baron Corbin Unfocused in this match, and it Cost him Against Cena!

I Didn't pick to see Nattie Winning the title outright with no Shenanigans from Carmella, but that's what happen with Naomi. Nattie won fair and square! still...there are going to be some people who watched the match and be like...

 

Well Enzo in a cage, in boxers and babyoil. if that is not a less than subtle rib about his backstage behaviour i don't know what is. Big Show Sold his broken Hand well, considering being so big and dominant, selling is not usually his strong suit! He lost to Big Fass-cist! He Support's Donald Trump and so can't teach anyone like that!

Anyway...back to stuff that matters! Namely The Second women's belt changing hands in a pretty good match! Of all the matches wwe beat to death, you could do worse than Sasha vs Alexa!

The Demon King Rises! with the help of who i assume is Becky Lynch singing In his hands! Balor who was all over bray wyatt like a rash! picked up the victory!

Cesaro has now become a Memetic Badass! Ok, scratch that, MORE OF A MEMETIC BADASS! That will stop people from throwing beachballs in matches some fans deem boring! Despite Cesaro going into business for himself, and no doubt backstage action may be dealt with, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are the new tag champions, because of course you put the belt on 2 guys that where beating the shit out of each other 6 days ago and have your most over team on the preshow!

NEXT WAS THE SHANE MACMAHON UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP!

Seriously, Shane turned the entire match about screwing over both wrestlers to feed his ego. Styles won!

Finally 2 big fuck yous! 1st Jinder beat Nakamura after a distraction by Sumil Singh, and Brock Lesner retained the Jam belt, so he can probably drop the belt tonight to deal with his injuries, rather than get pinned outright because BROCKY IS A BIG BITCH!

Well that's it! Unless the rumour of a second superstar shake-up happens tonight, The only news you'll hear from me will be tomorrow's winter Schedule. Because of The amped Anthology (AKA 2 YEAR OLD MATCHES! PART 2 OF 4!) and of Family Commitments, I will return with wrestling  In November for Bound for Glory results!

 

Summerslam 2017 predictions

CHANGES TO THE SKY SPORTS CHANNELS: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR WWE FANS?

If you haven't already noticed but Sky Sports has rebranded this morning, but what does that mean for wrestling fans? Hello, I am Eamonn Bermingham, Wrestling Blogger and Sky Customer and I have done a small investigation into how WWE will be shown in Britain for quite some time.

First, The Channels are no longer numbered, they are now Niched into a single Sport or Aspect of Sport

• Sky Sports 1 is now Sky Sports Main Event-This channel will show nothing but Live events as it happens and will show wwe raw and smackdown Live. It will also have a sky sports news show at 10pm, unless stated otherwise.
• Sky Sports 2 is now Sky Sports Premier League. All the live FA CUP Matches and football related documentaries
• Sky Sports 3 is now Sky Sports Football. All the international and world Cup qualifiers, as well as documentaries on the greats.
• Sky Sports 4 is now Sky Sports Cricket. Live Games and Ashes
• Sky sports 5 is now Sky Sports Golf. Live Players and Masters, as well as golf tutorials.
• sky f1 has not changed. it's still a load that exists despite f1 being a seasonal sport!
•  A new channel has being launched- SKY SPORTS ACTION! It will show live the sports that are not big and important in Rupert Murdoch's eyes to warrant it's own channel (darts, horses, dogs, rugby, G.A.A. and nfl)
• Taking Sky Sport Mix's spot is Sky Sports Arena, a place for arena sports like boxing, nfl and wwe!
• Sky Sports mix is now on 121 where sky Arts use to be! whether that means its now on the entertainment package is up to debate. Sky Sports News still exists.

TEETHING PROBLEMS THIS WEEK!

The consensus was that Arena and Action will have designated days and this Wednesday (18/07/17) is wwe day On Arena. However this means we will only see This weeks Raw on Monday and this week's main event and smackdown on Saturday. But by next week, this designated day thing is dropped, with raw repeated on Wednesday night and Smackdown and main event on Thursday night. However it's really a case of same old, same old as while the time of the repeats will no longer be shafted by cricket soccer or golf because they have their own channels, wwe will still be shafted by tennis, rugby, G.A.A. or if they book all the home nation world cup qualifiers on the same night! to which to those who want to change their subscriptions, buy Main Event and Arena, And Action, to cover a base, and you'll never miss a minute of wwe!

On the Preshow was a 6-person tag against BIFF TANNEN KM, Laurel Van Ness, and Kongo Kong vs Allie, Braxton Sutter and Shera. A decent opener, but only because Shera was not part of the ended result. Faces won.

To the main show itself, and we had a four company tag match for the GFW Championship. Laredo Kid and Garza from CRASH! Wrestling!, Marufuji and Ichimori from NOAH, TNA'S own champions LAX And Drago and Hijo del Phantasma from AAA. So glad to see triple a wrestlers on english tv without listening to Dave Bradshaw and Alex Shane, to those outside Britain, here is a reference you can easily understand!

Ethan Midcarder the Turd defeated Cowboy James Storm on a night that was symbolic of every piece of Impact was absorbed into Global Force!

Next was a Mixed Tag Not-TLC! Against Angelina Love and Davy Richards and Alisha and Eddie Edwards! That Spot where Love Forced a cup of Thumbtacks down his throat? that was uncomfortable television! But the Faces won despite all that brutality! IT WAS GOOD!

2 out of 3 falls match for the x division championship was next and the crowd was straight down the middle for both Dutt the Champion and Lowki the Challenger. the match was just as even but When Lowki went to the well too much and it cost him

Finally the 2 unification matches. I have never seen a finish where a sleeper was put on a wrestler using green mist was forced to gag on it, only for it to droll on the proponent's hand were a punch by the hand covered in the corrosive substance go the win. Sienna is your Unified Global force women's champion. And Alberto El Patron won against Bobby Lashley who's reign has being Godly for all of this past year!

MONEY IN THE BANK 2017: KA-LOST AND CONFOUND

It was a night of Theatrics, Toughness, Tenacity and Technical Difficulties! the 1st was which was a new security system on my Sky box that needed my PIN everytime I changed the channel or turned off the sky box! so given that I'm in Ireland at 1am, Remembering a 4 digit pin is not one thing that comes to mind! so i was locked out for 20 mins! So i missed the bulk of the Women's Match...which ended in a VOIDED DECISION! as James Elsworth took the Briefcase and gave it to Carmella! A Decision on the fate of the title shot will be held on Smackdown this week!

The Usos retain the belts by causing a countout! Pathetic!

Speaking of Women Wrestling, Lana went and turned the title match into a Very Bad Episode of G.L.O.W! Not helped by Technical Difficulties, that caused Sound feedback all the way til the Introduction the hall of Famers! My Theory? The Sound Guy were Distracted by Lana's Ass in a Low cut Leotard to do his job! Lana Did not Impress! In fact the only time people Popped was when Carmella came out to tease a cash in! and when the match was over!

We find out who trashed the Fashion Police's office. It was the Ascension...because Reasons! And Now we will have a tag match later....Because Reasons! we learned that the Tripe Blows won't be Coming to Any Shitty 3rd World Countries...or turning on each other!...any time soon!

After the Sound was fixed, it was time for the World title match. the Singh Brothers attacked Bob Orton at ringside and they got destroyed because of it and it was enough of a distraction for Jinder.
