The other is a more ominous threat, one Kojima faces tonight In the main event, as in a Six man tag match, Kojima and Okumura, are joined by Akira to face Contra, headed by the 7 foot monster, Mads Kruger, no doubt envisioning Kojima in the place in his latest victim, Matthew Justice In a twisted and Disturbing 3 stages of hell match at Blood and Thunder.

From Cruelty to Tradition, as the year starts to reach it's end, the Opening round of the Opera Cup continues its qualifiers, one match sees the co founders of Bomaye Fight Club, Alex Kane and Mr Thomas wrestle tonight, will they keep it civil or has AJ Francis' failed coup weathered their mutual trust?

And finally, Salina's Baby Father is revealed, as under the mask of one of Cesar's Azteca Henchmen, is.... Salina's Real life Boyfriend...well this is good...she can take Time off, and he can get smartened to the business.... considering the alternative they were fishing at, which was an In**st Angle!

Oh and an fat actor got whooped by a MMA legend, for embarrassing him out of a title shot! They will face each other in an MMA cage tonight.

Right off the Bat, we open Backstage with Contra beating up on Okamura, Who will be Replaced In main event by Matt Riddle.

Opening Match was a qualifier for the Opera Cup. The Middleweight Champion Mistico vs Magnus. and if you seen one Mistico Match you've seen them all. Mistico wins by Submission.

Backstage in Cesar's Office we get Telenovela Bulls**t as Selina and Tito Fawn over Baby carriages. Cesar calls over the Father of the Baby (Who is never named!) for not wearing his Henchman Mask. Cesar tells him that he more than ever represents AZTECA LUCHA, So he gives him a more Ornate Henchman mask.

Second Qualifier Match-Bad Dude Tito the Openweight Champion Vs the debuting Welsh man, Danny Jones, Jones has some size to him so this was a Bullfight, and the perfect match for Tito, Any bigman can throw around a smaller man, what's impressive is when he does it to someone Just as Big! Tito goes through.

Backstage MSL tries to Bribe Mr Thomas, to turn on Alex Kane ahead of their Qualifier.

Brett Ryan Goseleen Vs Jake Crist with Bomb Shelter Boy Bobby Fish On commentary. After the BRG win, Fish and Goseleen fake a Heated interview to sucker Crist in to attack him. Brett is evolving his character going from looking like a certain doll to being a new Version of a certain Indie darling heel, as he is now introduced as "The BRG" 

IS THE WORLD TITAN FEDERATION IMPLODING? It sure looked that way, when Bulldog Jnr lost all Composure and got disqualified, choking Aj out with a sleeper hold! 

Delmi Exo Vs Renee Michelle. After the match some other Job-Girl called Gigi....Allen- I Dunno I thought they was an Gigi Allen on NXT, isn't that Tam*on Girl? Anyway, Renee got in the face of this Gigi Allen, and got whooped. And worse of all, Renee and Drake Maverick still haven't Consummated the marriage!

The next match was Wrestled Greatly and Told a great Story. As Bomaye Co-founders Mr Thomas and Alex Kane Face in the last Qualifier for the evening. They Told a great Story here, as they Build Mr Thomas as not only as a powerhouse, Which he is, But as a Strategist, who knows all of Kane's Moves and had countermeasures to them. in fact this was the first time I've seen Thomas break out the full extent of his moves, usually the matches are one and one with a punch and a powerbomb, the Finish was Kane Spearing Thomas, as it was something Thomas didn't expect! After the match, Both hug and Thomas wished Kane Well, Fantastic Match. 

Dave Maurvez attempts to interview BRG and Bobby Fish. The Word of the Day is "Accountability"  and they walk off, with Maurvez looking on and screaming angrily for them to explain themselves.

Paul Walter Hauser got Powerbombed though a table full of packets of crisps, only for the fatman to reach for a bag of Doritos under his fat butt and eat them and powered up like Popeye on Spinach! But the finish was something else-Lawlor got Nunchucks and himself in the head with them, making him loopy enough to get hit with a DDT! This is Hybrid Wrestling! This was the thing Court Bauer said they did better than anyone else! 

Contra Vs Kojima/Akira/Riddle. The Ref was used as Battering ram by the faces in the jumpstart. Big Confusing schmaltz as these matches quickly become, Finish was Kruger was going to smash in Kojima's face with a steel chair. only for Akira to take the hit, Unfortunately Akira just so happened to be the legal man for his team. Could we be looking at the new Champion in Mads Kruger at night of the Beasts. I think so!

August Update for 2024

Usually when I make an Update, it's Usually bad News.

But this time, far from it! It's Good News!

I am Pleased to announce that i will be covering not 1, BUT THREE PAYPERVIEWS NEXT MONTH!

Here's how it breaks down. 

Major League Wrestling had a deal with Thriller which is now Done, and they had a schedule that consisted of a ppv on the app and a Special on youtube, we have being covering the specials. Last month mlw tried to get a Membership pass deal on it's ppvs. which I'm glad fell through when Blood and Thunder was free this month.

So on the last Thursday of August, Mlw Will have it's Second PPV In August Night of the Beasts, Days before The Bash at Berlin on the Following Saturday. There is no choice but to Combine the results of Both shows into a Double Feature!

NEW SCHEDULE FOR AUGUST OF 2024

• September the 2nd: The Return of the Caffeinated Coup: NIGHT OF THE BEASTS/BASH AT BERLIN DOUBLE FEATURE!
• September the 3rd: The Flash Review (Over on Bogger Box Office)

Yes, this also means the Flash Review Will be pushed Back a Day because of the Double Feature, But fear not! This will not happen until Next year because Bash will be the last wwe Pay-per-View I do before transitioning to Accommodating Streaming In February. After Bash, I will be focusing solely on Major League Wrestling, and Bogger Box Office!

Opening Match: Adam Priest Vs "Bomb Shelter Boy" Bobby Fish. Decent Opener, this would be a match that you'd see on Nxt or Superstars for a new call up getting a contract. Atlanta loves Bobby Fish, I won't get into Politics, But I have learned to separate the art from the artist.

The Opera Cup is Back! Once a Holiday Spectacle in the turn of the last Century to replace Opera when the singers returned home to Europe for Christmas, The Hart Family revived the tournament in 2018. and now the first Qualifier is a former Final's Rematch! Bulldog Jr Vs Timothy Thatcher. And this match was as Good as it was back in Christmas 2018. Real Technical wrestling, A Clinic! Finish was Davey Boy hitting a Tiger Driver 91, and the crowd went insane with boos, They are Buying that AEW Storyline that being Hit a Tiger Driver is like being hit with a Mortal Kombat Fatality!

Second Title match, and Despite the obvious Outcome, this match was Surprisingly Competitive, Between Jake Crist and Selina Dela Renta's Openweight champion, Bad Dude Tito! Tito won with the Tequila Screwdriver after a distraction by Jesus and A run-in by Brett Ryan Goseleen!

In the Back, Dave Marquez interviews Matt Riddle around the Battle Riot Title Shot he won. No Means No Bro goes on a long-winded Weed induced Ramble until Dumi Calahan Attacks Riddle from Behind!

Opera Cup Qualifier 2 Akira Vs Ikuro Kwan

Akira is so over right now, besides It's Ikuro Kwan, Jobber to the Stars!

Middleweight championship Star Jr Vs Mistico-Just in case you were sick of all that Boring stuff like "Wrestling Holds" and "Psychology", when you can have Flippies and Dippies! The Former I've Seen Enough Cara Won with that Headscissors into a Crossface.

You want to feel Old? The Next match was a Women's 3-WAY With one of the competitors being Jimmy Yang's 21 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER! Jazzy Yang!-I started this blog when he was still on smackdown in 2009! I didn't realise he had an adult daughter! Jazzy is more Grounded that her Father who use to-USE TO SAYS-Still!-Flies off the rope, But she did Hit a Yang Time in this match.

But what of the match? It was a 3-WAY match.

It was Jazzy Yang making her debut alongside Dani Jordan, who is doing a mean Girl Gimmick in same company Zayda exists in, Vs Miyu from Stardom, You'd remember she was the 90 Pound Schoolgirl who put another's company's belt up in a title match back on Reload in January. But seemingly she's no longer the (DIES INSIDE!) Stardom Princess Among Princess Champion (How am I supposed to take you seriously?) But she still won this match

MLW Honours Booker Extraordinaire Gary Juster for his life time of Booking major Nwa, Wcw supercards and the first All-In! Please Google Gary Juster because I Could Go into his life and career myself, If His efforts and Accomplishments were not so Innumerable. Great Segment, well Deserved! 

Main Event time Bull-Rope Match between One called Manders and the leader of Contra, Mads Krule Kruger. Manders Jumped Mads with Revenge on his mind. Contra took out both Mander's tag Partner Matthew Justice and Their new Manager, Bill Alfonzo previously. This was a Modern Gimmick match again, as not only was a particular thing legal, everything else was Legal. Finally what seemed like Forever just whaling on each other, Janai Kai Hit the Ring to kick Manders who staggered into the Scorched Earth. Kruger won, but he ordered the Sendai Death Squad to Attack Manders. Justice came out to return the favour, but he was Intercepted Backstage by Kwan and Minoru Sazuki. It seems like It's only a matter of time Krule becomes world's champion!

And in the Last 2 Minutes Selina has a Father's Day Gift for Cesar Duran, he says that Father's Day was last week. SHE'S LATE!

WWE CLASH AT THE CASTLE: THE GLASS (GOW) CEILING

 Hello everyone! And welcome to the results of Saturday's Clash at the Castle, an auspicious occasion, the last UK Show to be Televised on Tnt Sports, before WWE's worldwide move to Netflix, and before my Countrymen respond, yeah hope you enjoy your week old Raw and Smackdown and reading results on blogs like this when you can just get with the times, because you just know Virgin media won't Spring For the ppvs in The New Year.

First match of the night, a surprising one, but given where we are, of course Drew McIntyre's match was the main event. The opener was for the other world's championship, the Undisputed Championship. Cody Rhodes Vs AJ Styles. Given that this show only had 5 matches, the show was Bookended by long matches. AJ Styles pulled out a Myriad of weapons, including the Handcuffs that would bite him in the Ass, later ( the handcuffs got a "K*nky B****rd" chant going!) Styles also would make the Mistake of Menacing Michelle Runnels aka Momma Rhodes at Ringside, Cody retains by handcuffing Styles and attempting to throw a Ring steps at Styles Head. With that done, Cody can focus on Gunther's title shot....at Summerslam? Well that only proves that Gunther is going into Bash at Berlin as Champion or Challenger! 

Triple Threat tag match ended with a Flukey win by Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. The other team, Shayna Baszler and "Grandma" Zoey Stark (Shout-out to Jonn Ritland!) Did all the heavy lifting beating the champions of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. And they capitalized on to it. Are they only getting booked because of pride month? I know Alba Fyre is married to a man, but they are PRESENTED As a lesbian couple! As soon as July comes around are they just gonna take the belts off them and put them back in the same box Tegan Knox is in until next June? 

Intercontinental championship match between Sami Zayn Vs Chad Gable was more of an angle with Wrestling put in here and there. With Gable sliding out to Confer with Bloatis and his new Blonde Fembot, while Sami slides out to Convince them instead. Gable got on Otis' bad side and knocked down Maxine and he carried her out! Distracted by the Perceived Traitorous walkout, Gable ate a Helluva Kick by Sami, Sami Retains.

If you thought Piper Niven was Winning the women's championship after being Presented as a Stooge for a Jobber's Wife, with the only reason being she's homegrown talent, in a match made the last minute, you're an idiot! Apart from the "Hey Bailey" Chant, the crowd was dead!

WWE Heavyweight championship match between Drew McIntyre and "El Campion" Damian Priest! And with all the Support, with all the cheers, with all the pageantry in Drew's Entrance, with Priest Booed like he just said he's against Scottish Freedom, With all the Good Will in the Nation of Scotland behind Drew McInytre....They DID IT AGAIN TO HIM!

But we kinda knew given The Punk feud coming up! Still Fans in the Hydro after the match be like...

Anyway Crowd built this match to a fever pitch, For a show that only had 5 matches and a skeleton crew of superstars and was Bookended by 2 long matches with Video packages, the crowd made this match, It was Drew for 70 percent of this match, until the ref-bump during the Claymore Kick,  a Second ref came Down and Drew pinned the Champion But then the ref counted 2 and flipped Drew Off! The camera work was Impeccable, as we never saw The second refs Face until we saw and Heard the reaction of those who could see from that angle...when the Camera showed Punks Face, Both Sides of the pro and Against Reacted hard! Distracted, Punk Uppercutted him in the Love Spuds and he staggered into South of heaven! A Dusty Finish to screw Mcintyre in the UK again! 

And that does it for the last UK show to be televised by TNT UK!

But this is not the last PPV of this month, before I take my Sabbatical Next month, I'll have results in 7 days time, of MLW Anniversary!

MLW BATTLE RIOT 2024 RESULTS -A FOOT RACE WITH EXTRA STEPS!

PREVIOUSLY ON MAJOR LEAGUE WRESTLING....

At the Azteca Lucha PPV, Cesar Duran and Selina Dela Renta had a war to determine who will be the Top Lucha promotor in North America and the Holder of the Cesar Key, the Symbolic item to show that you are the one entrusted with the power to shape the Future of Lucha.

When the Result was a tie, Selina stole the key, until she was kidnapped by Azteca Henchmen.

Later on in the carpark, Cesar and some Azteca Henchwomen, intimidated Selina with the safety of her mother on the line. So that answers my question for months now- I guess Selina and Promotionales Dorado are the faces!

We open with Featherweight Championship match between Delmi Exo Vs Janai Kai. Good match. Even though Janai is now Contra, Selina came out to spray hairspray and kick Cesar in the Nuts, I'm surprised after what we learned later, Selina didn't fade out of existence. And no I didn't think she did it as a favour for her former charge, I think it was Revenge above Reason. Kai retains after the Spun kick to a blinded Delmi.

Backstage Paul Walter Houser, the fat extra from The Karate Kid Show from an App! Is fanboying over Jimmy Wang, Masa Chono, 2 cold Scorpio and the Failed Rapper wrestler Clown Cult leader! Paul fawns over an Arachiman costume he bought. Only for it to be Stolen

Next was the worst match of show, the month, possibly this year Ritual Combat, between  Atlanta's Own, Alex Kane and the Former Flop...TOP! Dolla, AJ Francis. The Rules of this S**t-Show, No Pinfall, no count outs, LAAAAAZY BOOKING! There is a throne on the ramp and the only way you can win this match is to sit on it for the count of ten. Aiding the Ref to adjudicate this match are "The Elders" 2 African American greats in Mark Henry and Teddy Long. They will be Judging the Conduct of the two combatants, and Guarding the Throne when they are fighting outside the ring.

So ....what's stopping A Motherf**Ker from knocking the other guy out with a chair and just sauntering to the chair with the Elders dealt with by the heels seconds during the 10 count. Plus it's up the ramp, so not only do you have to fight, but run up a ramp to do so. As eluded to in the title, it was Footrace with extra steps!

and then the Match, and it's clear they did it to hide the Fact AJ....is still terrible! Here's a first, An Alex Kane match that Stunk to high Heavens! The Manitee in Basketball shorts got in Mark Henry's face so he didn't ingratiate himself to well with the Hall of famers! Finish was Kane putting The Cheeze-its Champion through a table!

Title match time for the World's championship. Kojima becoming more and more hurt in the process, but he's a fighting champion despite the foot being an issue, and when his opponent is a Former UFC fighter in Tom Lawlor, we all thought we were getting a new champion. The foot injury seems legit and worse than we thought as it's now taking Kojima longer to make his comeback. I'm sure we are getting a new Champion to go with that new designed belt, sooner than later!

 Hello Friends, Eamonn here with a Bumper review from you all, and why wouldn't it be?, When I am completely satisfied that everything I can do will be 90 percent of what is written below on this post. So let's get into it!

THE OFFICIAL POST SCHEDULE FOR ENLIGHTENED TOWERS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR 2024

• Tuesday the 4th of June-Battle Riot results (Deferred Due to Bank Holiday!)
• Monday the 17th-Clash at the castle
• September the 2nd-Bash in Berlin
• Every month until Christmas week-MLW Internet Special events.

ADAPT OR DIE!

As we all know now, next year worldwide, WWE is heading to Netflix. And as Such, that means I'm using the Time that WWE usually cools down to the point of stopping, the Winter Months, to make all the Arrangements needed to continue to do this.

As such, after Bash at Berlin, there will be no more WWE pay per views until January. The only wrestling content will be MLW or opinion pieces if I feel strongly about writing it!

And if Any limited edition food turns up in the meantime I will try to fit one in, and no The Flaming Hot Doritos do not count, and they release a Slightly hotter Chip every year or 2.

YEARLY SABBATICAL 

July will be my Sabbatical month for Medical appointments. With the exception of MLW And writing August's film review, I am taking all of July off!

Well that's it! This was My 544th post. Looks like I won't be Close to that goal of 600 posts here, but 300 posts on Bbo seem both plausible and Doable, but to have that many done since last year's Wrestlemania which was 500th, has amazed me that it would happen so fast!
