Once a Holiday Spectacle in the turn of the last Century to replace Opera when the singers returned home to Europe for Christmas, The Hart Family revived the tournament in 2018. and now the first Qualifier is a former Final's Rematch! Bulldog Jr Vs Timothy Thatcher. And this match was as Good as it was back in Christmas 2018. Real Technical wrestling, A Clinic! Second Title match, and Despite the obvious Outcome, this match was Surprisingly Competitive, Between Jake Crist and Selina Dela Renta's Openweight champion, Bad Dude Tito! Tito won with the Tequila Screwdriver after a distraction by Jesus and A run-in by Brett Ryan Goseleen!

MLW Honours Booker Extraordinaire Gary Juster for his life time of Booking major Nwa, Wcw supercards and the first All-In! Please Google Gary Juster because I Could Go into his life and career myself, If His efforts and Accomplishments were not so Innumerable. Great Segment, well Deserved! 

Main Event time Bull-Rope Match between One called Manders and the leader of Contra, Mads Krule Kruger. Manders Jumped Mads with Revenge on his mind. Contra took out both Mander's tag Partner Matthew Justice and Their new Manager, Bill Alfonzo previously. This was a Modern Gimmick match again, as not only was a particular thing legal, everything else was Legal. Finally what seemed like Forever just whaling on each other, Janai Kai Hit the Ring to kick Manders who staggered into the Scorched Earth. Kruger won, but he ordered the Sendai Death Squad to Attack Manders. Justice came out to return the favour, but he was Intercepted Backstage by Kwan and Minoru Sazuki. It seems like It's only a matter of time Krule becomes world's champion!

And in the Last 2 Minutes Selina has a Father's Day Gift for Cesar Duran, he says that Father's Day was last week. SHE'S LATE!

WWE CLASH AT THE CASTLE: THE GLASS (GOW) CEILING

 Hello everyone! And welcome to the results of Saturday's Clash at the Castle, an auspicious occasion, the last UK Show to be Televised on Tnt Sports, before WWE's worldwide move to Netflix, and before my Countrymen respond, yeah hope you enjoy your week old Raw and Smackdown and reading results on blogs like this when you can just get with the times, because you just know Virgin media won't Spring For the ppvs in The New Year.

First match of the night, a surprising one, but given where we are, of course Drew McIntyre's match was the main event. The opener was for the other world's championship, the Undisputed Championship. Cody Rhodes Vs AJ Styles. Given that this show only had 5 matches, the show was Bookended by long matches. AJ Styles pulled out a Myriad of weapons, including the Handcuffs that would bite him in the Ass, later ( the handcuffs got a "K*nky B****rd" chant going!) Styles also would make the Mistake of Menacing Michelle Runnels aka Momma Rhodes at Ringside, Cody retains by handcuffing Styles and attempting to throw a Ring steps at Styles Head. With that done, Cody can focus on Gunther's title shot....at Summerslam? Well that only proves that Gunther is going into Bash at Berlin as Champion or Challenger! 

Triple Threat tag match ended with a Flukey win by Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. The other team, Shayna Baszler and "Grandma" Zoey Stark (Shout-out to Jonn Ritland!) Did all the heavy lifting beating the champions of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. And they capitalized on to it. Are they only getting booked because of pride month? I know Alba Fyre is married to a man, but they are PRESENTED As a lesbian couple! As soon as July comes around are they just gonna take the belts off them and put them back in the same box Tegan Knox is in until next June? 

Intercontinental championship match between Sami Zayn Vs Chad Gable was more of an angle with Wrestling put in here and there. With Gable sliding out to Confer with Bloatis and his new Blonde Fembot, while Sami slides out to Convince them instead. Gable got on Otis' bad side and knocked down Maxine and he carried her out! Distracted by the Perceived Traitorous walkout, Gable ate a Helluva Kick by Sami, Sami Retains.

If you thought Piper Niven was Winning the women's championship after being Presented as a Stooge for a Jobber's Wife, with the only reason being she's homegrown talent, in a match made the last minute, you're an idiot! Apart from the "Hey Bailey" Chant, the crowd was dead!

WWE Heavyweight championship match between Drew McIntyre and "El Campion" Damian Priest! And with all the Support, with all the cheers, with all the pageantry in Drew's Entrance, with Priest Booed like he just said he's against Scottish Freedom, With all the Good Will in the Nation of Scotland behind Drew McInytre....They DID IT AGAIN TO HIM!

But we kinda knew given The Punk feud coming up! Still Fans in the Hydro after the match be like...

Anyway Crowd built this match to a fever pitch, For a show that only had 5 matches and a skeleton crew of superstars and was Bookended by 2 long matches with Video packages, the crowd made this match, It was Drew for 70 percent of this match, until the ref-bump during the Claymore Kick,  a Second ref came Down and Drew pinned the Champion But then the ref counted 2 and flipped Drew Off! The camera work was Impeccable, as we never saw The second refs Face until we saw and Heard the reaction of those who could see from that angle...when the Camera showed Punks Face, Both Sides of the pro and Against Reacted hard! Distracted, Punk Uppercutted him in the Love Spuds and he staggered into South of heaven! A Dusty Finish to screw Mcintyre in the UK again! 

And that does it for the last UK show to be televised by TNT UK!

MLW BATTLE RIOT 2024 RESULTS -A FOOT RACE WITH EXTRA STEPS!

PREVIOUSLY ON MAJOR LEAGUE WRESTLING....

At the Azteca Lucha PPV, Cesar Duran and Selina Dela Renta had a war to determine who will be the Top Lucha promotor in North America and the Holder of the Cesar Key, the Symbolic item to show that you are the one entrusted with the power to shape the Future of Lucha.

When the Result was a tie, Selina stole the key, until she was kidnapped by Azteca Henchmen.

Later on in the carpark, Cesar and some Azteca Henchwomen, intimidated Selina with the safety of her mother on the line. So that answers my question for months now- I guess Selina and Promotionales Dorado are the faces!

We open with Featherweight Championship match between Delmi Exo Vs Janai Kai. Good match. Even though Janai is now Contra, Selina came out to spray hairspray and kick Cesar in the Nuts, I'm surprised after what we learned later, Selina didn't fade out of existence. And no I didn't think she did it as a favour for her former charge, I think it was Revenge above Reason. Kai retains after the Spun kick to a blinded Delmi.

Backstage Paul Walter Houser, the fat extra from The Karate Kid Show from an App! Is fanboying over Jimmy Wang, Masa Chono, 2 cold Scorpio and the Failed Rapper wrestler Clown Cult leader! Paul fawns over an Arachiman costume he bought. Only for it to be Stolen

Next was the worst match of show, the month, possibly this year Ritual Combat, between  Atlanta's Own, Alex Kane and the Former Flop...TOP! Dolla, AJ Francis. The Rules of this S**t-Show, No Pinfall, no count outs, LAAAAAZY BOOKING! There is a throne on the ramp and the only way you can win this match is to sit on it for the count of ten. Aiding the Ref to adjudicate this match are "The Elders" 2 African American greats in Mark Henry and Teddy Long. They will be Judging the Conduct of the two combatants, and Guarding the Throne when they are fighting outside the ring.

So ....what's stopping A Motherf**Ker from knocking the other guy out with a chair and just sauntering to the chair with the Elders dealt with by the heels seconds during the 10 count. Plus it's up the ramp, so not only do you have to fight, but run up a ramp to do so. As eluded to in the title, it was Footrace with extra steps!

and then the Match, and it's clear they did it to hide the Fact AJ....is still terrible! Here's a first, An Alex Kane match that Stunk to high Heavens! The Manitee in Basketball shorts got in Mark Henry's face so he didn't ingratiate himself to well with the Hall of famers! Finish was Kane putting The Cheeze-its Champion through a table!

Title match time for the World's championship. Kojima becoming more and more hurt in the process, but he's a fighting champion despite the foot being an issue, and when his opponent is a Former UFC fighter in Tom Lawlor, we all thought we were getting a new champion. The foot injury seems legit and worse than we thought as it's now taking Kojima longer to make his comeback. I'm sure we are getting a new Champion to go with that new designed belt, sooner than later!

ADAPT OR DIE!

As we all know now, next year worldwide, WWE is heading to Netflix. And as Such, that means I'm using the Time that WWE usually cools down to the point of stopping, the Winter Months, to make all the Arrangements needed to continue to do this.

As such, after Bash at Berlin, there will be no more WWE pay per views until January. The only wrestling content will be MLW or opinion pieces if I feel strongly about writing it!

And if Any limited edition food turns up in the meantime I will try to fit one in, and no The Flaming Hot Doritos do not count, and they release a Slightly hotter Chip every year or 2.

YEARLY SABBATICAL 

July will be my Sabbatical month for Medical appointments. With the exception of MLW And writing August's film review, I am taking all of July off!

An event where MLW's 2 Latino Factions Fought For the Cesar Key, A symbol that unlocks the Monopoly On Lucha Libre in America. Cesar Duran and Salina Dela Renta fought in a best of 5 all night. 

It ended in a tie.

While Cesar was distracted, Selina Absconded with the Key, only for her to be captured by Azteca Henchman.

It wasn't all bad for Dela Renta's Promocienanes Dorado, As Bad Dude Tito beat a now Directionless Ricky Shane Page.

Last Month Contra took out Members of The World Title Federation, including The tag champions Filthy Tom Lawlor and Bulldog Jr. Meaning the Belts were vacated, After a match with the Second Gear Crew, Satoshi Kojima became A Double Champion as the World's champion is now a tag champion. So let's get into it. 

Brett Ryan Goseleen Vs Jake Crist. Good Match with great Energy from the crowd to start. Finish was Jake getting a Rollup on Brett, who attacks Crist after match.

Next match was Akira vs A Man I once admired for his Work, Until he revealed himself to a complete Tin-Foil Hat Wearing Goof like his Best friend in the Bomb Shelter, Drake Younger. They're Bomb Shelter Buddies! That Sounds like one of those lame Children Shows you'd see on the "GAWD!" Channels flicking over to find CN. Anyway, Akira showed what People have being saying, including myself: he can wrestle and doesn't need to do this Garbage Wrestling s**t. Akira wins and extends his hand to shake Fish's, But he Flips him off instead!

Backstage Riddle draws a number for Battle Riot From a Tombola and sneaks a Doobie into it for "His homeboy" later! 

Alex Kane Vs A-Game, one of the former Members of  Bombaye Fight Club...YEAH THIS WAS A SQUASH! As A Live feed of AJ Francis looked on. The Former Flop...TOP Dollar makes a match that was hinted at last month as the name of a ppv-RITUAL COMBAT-That match is going to be the Undercard to The Battle Riot On June the 1st-more on than later!

Match 4 Kruger Vs Matthew Justice in Falls count anywhere. After the match the Sendai Death Squad tried to stuff Justice into a Bodybag but escaped. After the break, Justice continued to fight Contra until Janai Kai revealed herself to be A Contra member all the time.

Backstage, MSL is eating a Sandwich with the stolen World's Championship until Kojima reclaims it, and beating up the Promotor of WTF. 

Match 5, four-way Featherweight Championship Zayda Vs Delmi Exo Vs A JOSHIEEEEEEE NINETY POUND SCHOOLGIRL PRINCESS! VS Janai Kai. Kai wins with Double Demon Clutch After capitalising on Exo's Delmi Driver.

Sami Calahan vs Matt Riddle ended in a Double Countout. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

MATCH 7 WORLD'S TITLE MATCH

KOJIMA VS ONE CALLED MANDERS

Kojima's Leg injury is getting worse, but as a face, Manders never took advantage. Kojima wins but it took a lot. Contra Attacked the Main eventers, with lead to all the roster out to hit the ring and we will see you all for the Royal Rumb- I mean, Battle Riot!

This year the Battle Riot ppv will be FREE ON YOUTUBE ON JUNE THE FIRST, HOWEVER DUE TO BOTH THE BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY AND FAMILY COMMITMENTS, I WILL HAVE RESULTS ON THE FOURTH OF JUNE.

No seriously, could this have being the most underwhelming draft ever made?

First of all, Breakker and Ilya on the main roster sharing it with Gunther, Sami, Punk and Mcintyre, GREAT! But there was not much in the way of change!

Smackdown's women division has just become Gutted to make raw's stronger. Smackdown's women just became The Bianca and Naomi Show, While Nia will stay permanent number 2 contender by having a steady diet of Job-girls!

Also it seems Triple h is now using the Draft to end to Feuds that go nowhere, The pride/ final testament feud is over and it looks like We are rehashing Rey vs Dominic with LWO and Judgement Day in tow!

And on a final Note, congratulations on World Hide and Seek Champion, Odyssey Jones, who has not being seen since Last Year's Draft!

Over on Bogger Box Office, Normal Service Resumes next tuesday with my review of Oppenheimer, while on this site, the next review will be the 20th of May with results of MLW Fury Road!

The Big Story out of War Chamber PPV was Alex Kane was Betrayed by some of the Bombaye Fightclub members causing him to lose to "Flop Dollar" AJ Francis, clearly they were swayed by the money you can make being the Cheeze-its Champion! 

In the Titular match for this event, Team MLW lead by it's champion, Kojima got the win, but then the next Challenger revealed himself- Mads Kruger and his Cohorts in the Sendai Death Squad, make a declaration of war between both the champion and the World Titan Federation.

This month, the focus right now is next month's Azteca Lucha, and the war between Selina and Cesar, playing human chess with their promotional charges. Each wanting to rake up the monopoly of Lucha in North America and to just plain rub it in the face of their rival, The prize is Cesar's Key. The Symbolic Key to Unlock the Future of Lucha to be the One and only Agent responsible for Mexico's Fighting Art-form.

But tonight In our main event, Raven must kill his creation, the calling by banding together with a different direction for deathmatches as he gives the reign to Akira to captain his namesake team, The Death Fighters in the War Chamber Match!

Filmed as build up to the War Chamber PPV 3 weeks ago, this is War Chamber II.

First match a precursor to next month's pov and possibly the next special, a Lucha match between Salina's Star Jr Vs Cesar Duran's client, Some washed up middle-aged has-been called Virus. The Crowd did not Care. Once again this is heel Vs heel so the crowd didn't cheer for either. Star Jr won with a lame excuse for a Achilles tendon hold which only proves the Lucha of thus new generation only cares about spots. And spoilers on anyone going to buy Azteca Lucha, but half the confirmed roster are old Fogies, more beat up and washed out than Virus! 

Wtf will defend the tag belts tonight in a backstage interview.

Matthew Justice will now be managed by Bill Alfonso. The legendary ECW ref and manager was Ringside at War Chamber and helped out Justice at the main event.

Tampa's own Budd Heavy returned to MLW with a Slim down physique and mohawk. The Superheavyweight faced Brett Ryan Goseleen, a match on paper would favour Heavy, if this wasn't wrestling. Brett swarmed him like a colony of ants on an elephant, hitting both finishers the Sweet Victory (Rainmaker) and the Paige Turner. I would also like to say, Brett's Conditioning is a lot better from when I say him in his debut.

Salina Backstage is taking with her...mother? Goddam! No I know where she gets it from!

Tag team championship- and finally the crowd was into this as WTF members Filthy Tom Lawlor and Bulldog Jr faces Bombaye Fightclub members of Alex Kane and Mr Thomas, With AJ Francis at Commentary. He denies that the referee that Gabe the match he won against Kane who did a quick count is in the pocket of WTF, buy he did also reveal the date and name of the next PPV...Ritual Combat on the First of June. This match was great and it looked like The Fightclub was going to win, But Kane got distracted by AJ, and that led to Mister Saint Laurent throwing the belt to Lawlor to cheap shot Mr Thomas. WTF retain.

Presented as a Bonus match recorded earlier because Heavy Vs BRG finished Early, Zayda Vs some 7 stone girl from Cirque de Bullshay! They really want to make something out of Zayda Steel so bad, they are finding Japanese Schoolgirls and indie Mudshow girls to make her look good! Zayda won.

Timothy Thatcher Vs Matt Riddle. These two always have great matches together. And this did not disappoint, Good back and Forth with Riddle Being Serious for a change between the Ropes. I Will never understand why WWE let go of Thatcher and why Tony Khan didn't offer him a Contract!

20th of May, Will be date for Fury Road, the Next Special which will be shown on Youtube the 18th of May  ...and that Announcement was interrupted by Ikari Kwan destroying Richard Holiday. Be careful we don't want you to Babyface the Parody of Vince's Management or the Terrorist Cell by doing this!

World Title match. Kojima Vs Bad Dude Tito-Short and Sweet for good Reason, Kojima who is wrestling with a injured Foot is doing Duty on the night this was recorded, remember, these matches are the preshow to the ppv 3 weeks ago. So Kojima was to work a War Chamber match later. Short match to protect the foot injury, but worked well, Tito looked like a monster and Sold the Lariot-O! But it Took more than one attempt to put him Down. So Tito Lost, but he didn't look Weak doing so! Like I said before when MLW Gets it right, they get it right!

Main Event time, and I didn't take Much notes, Since I don't count Garbage Wrestling as Wrestling. Akira was taken out by the calling during his entrance, So he was dragged by Ricky Shane Page During his entrance while Jake Crist was being Mugged By Cannonball and Sami Calahan, Raven Got a big Pop in his first match in years...Even if all he did was swing a kendo Stick. It devolved into Torture P*rn when all 8 men was in the Ring, So i don't remember who was put through the table on the Calling Side, So the winners were the Death Fighters-Newly rechristened as The Response.
