I have alot planned this year, so much so, I can't tell you at this time! But I can reveal what I am doing!

In a 4-part series, each focusing on a different Decade!

As of right now, I have no Idea what the state of World of Sport Wrestling's tv deal is in. They just finished a glorious sell out tour of Britain this week, so I'm expecting an announcement soon. I am also expecting confirmation of AEW having a tv deal, but it would help if they had a tv show beforehand! So fair, The Young Bucks are what they were in Japan, 2 hypemen with Huge T-shirt sales!

To the surprise of absolutely noone, Impact refuses to show their ppvs live in Britain and Ireland! I never had a problem so long as they were released that week, live is great, one day later is fine, 3 days is pushing it. BUT A WEEK AFTER THE FACT IS A FUCKING JOKE! But I will Review Impact ppvs whenever they come out, but I have something special in mind if they plan to pull this bullshit for Redemption and bound for Glory!

WORLD OF SPORT WRESTLING WEEK 10: BREXIT STAGE LEFT!

So after 10 weeks, Wos wrestling comes to a close. It has being a mixed bag of a series, Sublime Matches overshadowed by a shallow roster, Censoring of Costumes, Inane Camera Cuts, and executive Meddling to push it at different times without warning.

If there is a season 2, i would like itv to learn from this season...and GIVE IT A REST WITH THE CAMERA CUTS!

Only 2 matches again this week, but they are both title matches!

After going to an ad break 10 minutes in, We had our first Title Match, a tag title match. Between the Champions Kip Sabian and Iestyn Rees and Grado vs Bulldog Jnr.

Grado and Bulldog Jnr. are the new WOS Tag Team Champions. And so Grado's story has being bookended. Losing Gold in week 1 and winning Gold in week 10.

After a Video Package. (Oh now you're producing like a wrestling show! IT ONLY TOOK YOU 9 WEEKS IN A 10 WEEK SHOW!) We come to Our 40 minute Main event, we have building up to this for weeks and Now it's time!

WOS WRESTLING BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP
JUSTIN SYSUM VS RAMPAGE(C) W/ CJ BANKS AND SHA SAMUELS

After Stalling with his gang, Rampage tries to ambush Sysum, but the man they call "Superhuman" is ready! After a couple of heavy blows, Sysum goes for a crossbody, then a Vertical Suplex, Sysum showing he that Agility and Raw Strength that he used last week to body-slam the 500 pound Crater! But In his hubris, Rampage counters A leapfrog into a Double A spinebuster! Sysum Staggers to ropes for Respite and is ambushed by The Rampage Gang. Head Ref Steve Linski, as we are told by Stu Bennett, has being given special orders not to call a DQ and to have a decisive finish, Bans the Rampage Gang from Ringside! As the ref is distracted Rampage Blindsides Justin and sends him flying to the outside to be counted out. Sysum gets back in at 8. Clothesline catches Rampage off Guard, but a spinebuster by the Champion kills all of Sysum's Momentum. Side Headlock by the Champion, but Justin stand out and irish whips Rampage into a dropkick! Foldaway Slam by The champ, another whip but Sysum hits that Corkscrew Clothesline. a close 2 count after the finisher. Uranage by Rampage. Superplex by the champion as the ring is starting to warp and groan under the pressure! Suplex on the outside Rampage pulls out the Ring Steps to use it as a weapon, But instead Justin uses it as launchpad for a Clothesline, and the match returns to ring. Rampage stamps on Sysum as he crawls in and picks him up for a Sidewalk Slam. Banks Comes out from back Stage to attack Sysum, who turns into a Big Boot from Rampage! Corkscrew Clothesline again, but Banks pulls the ref's Leg! Tope Suicida takes out Cj Banks. Oklahoma Stampede by The champion gets 2. Sysum again goes for the Corkscrew, But he takes out the ref by Accident. Sha Samuels goes out and exposes a turnbuckle as the ref comes to and sees Sha. Fisherman's Suplex by Rampage but the Ref is throwing Sha out. Big Kick by Justin takes out Linski again! A second Ref comes out, Rampage goes to whip Justin but he instead hits the Exposed Turnbuckle. Corkscrew once more and Sysum ascends to the top corner for the 450 Splash....
WINNER AND NEW BRITISH CHAMPION: JUSTIN SYSUM

After the match. Rampage Refuses to let GM Bennett give the belt over, so Bennett Decks him One!

WORLD OF SPORT WEEK 9: PENULTIMATE WARRIOR

We have only 2 matches this week, and I  would love to say Quality over Quantity, But No....NOT HAPPENING!

1st Match was The women's championship between Kaylee Ray and Viper. This was a beautiful back and forth match, Unfortunately, Once again, the air-time has being moved to 2pm and it was edited even more that it was a week ago in it's 4pm timeslot. and before you say it's the channels discretion on what gets shown or not! Let me tell you what Itv shows on 2pm on Saturday at any other week: CRIME DRAMAS! Some of them even have Adult themes, blood and swearing at lunchtime! Oh But a wrestler selling a chop like it really hurts more than it does? NAUGHTY, NAUGHTY, CENSOR THAT SHIT! Kaylee ray retains with a Gorey Bomb!

Last week I Called the main event a Reserve Battle Royale, It's not....IT'S SOMETHING EVEN MORE CONVULTED!

RULES TO THE BUZZER BATTLE ROYALE

• The match will start as a 1 on 1 match.
• However, at any given time, Stu Bennett will press a buzzer at ringside to add 2 more men to the match and the match will become a tag elimination match. Eliminations by pinfall, submission, countout, dq, or injury.
• Odd Numbers team with Odd Numbers, Even numbers team with even numbers.
• When there a 8 men left, this match become an over-the-top-rope battle Royale
• Winner gets a title shot at Rampage at the Season finale Next week!

CASE IN POINT, JUSTIN SYSUM, WHO HAD TO FIGHT FOR A TITLE SHOT SINCE WEEK 2 AND HASN'T USED IT YET IS ENTERED FOR A MATCH FOR A TITLE SHOT, IS NUMBER 14, NUMBER 13 IS CRATER, WHO IS STILL MASKED DESPITE LOSING A  MASK VS MASK MATCH LAST WEEK! AND THEN BARRETT PRESSES THE BUZZER AGAIN FOR A BIG SURPRISE!

WORLD OF SPORT WRESTLING WEEK 8: INSERT FUNNY SUBTITLE HERE!

We open with GM Stu Bennett telling us he has a special announcement on the main event for next week!

In a match where 2 of WOS' most powerful women collided it was Viper who toppled Ayesha, with ease, in fact the 1st 3 minutes was all Viper! But in the end Viper hooked the "London Amazon" with a Minchinouku Driver for the win and to become Kay Lee Ray's contender next week!

This weekend Savour in the knowledge that there was at least one Mixed Tag Match that wasn't Bollocks! As 2 real life couples (like that never went south in the grand scheme of things!) Kay Lee Ray and Stevie Boy faced Bea Priestly and Kay Lee Ray....and out came the editors! Kaylee did a move of some sort in the ropes, but i didn't know what because of Censors! still it was a great a match and it made history as WOS' first mixed tag! the Women Suplexing the opponent's male partners at the same time was a pop-worthy moment!

Match 3 is why the Wrestlers may be told not to sell anymore, as a chop, a simple Flair Chop, that Bulldog sold with an anguished face, caused it to be censored! Still Bulldog Junior had a good back and forth with tag champion Iestyn Rees! Lots of power from the 2 powerhouses and Made Iestyn a dark horse for the British title picture in my eyes!

Robbie x unmasked Crater...who quickly covered up with a second mask after...in a mask vs mask match, which meant the match had no consequence, and Barrett revealed his announcement for episode 9...a "NEW KIND OF MATCH" (!)...For the number one contendership....AND THAT'S WHAT I AM ON ABOUT WITH MATCHES HAVING NO CONSEQUENCES! Justin Sysum is the Number one contender and he hasn't had his match yet!...AND NOW THERE IS A REVERSE BATTLE ROYALE PITTING THE ENTIRE MALE ROSTER, INCLUDING SYSUM, BUT EXCLUDING THE CHAMPION RAMPAGE, FOR A MATCH HE WAS PUT THROUGH HOOPS FOR SINCE EPISODE 2! WHAT THE HELL?

ANYWAY!
WATCH ME UNRAVEL THIS WOOLLY MESS NEXT WEEK, WE HAVE THE WORST GIMMICK MATCH EVER DEVISED AND VIPER SINKS HER TEETH INTO THE TITLE PICTURE NEXT WEEK FOR WEEK 9: PENULTIMATE WARRIOR!

WORLD OF SPORT WRESTLING WEEK 7: ULTIMATE LADDER MATCH, ULTIMATELY EDITED!

It's week 7 and it was SUCKY for some!

Let's first Talk about the Ultimate Loser Leave Town Ladder Match, Not only because it was the 1st match, But Because on how it was booked! First the competitors, Had you did this with Rampage Brown and Justin Sysum or Bulldog for the title it would have made sense! It would also have made more sense to have a Super-over face (Grado) lose and illicit a response by putting over a nigh unstoppable heel (Crater!) Instead to made a match that rare, that it is put out when feuds get too emotional...and you waste it on a broke up tag-team noone cared about?

1st of all Nathan Cruz is a great wrestler, but he was presented as a low level guy. Adam Maxted is a Gobshite From Love Island, who is only getting a push because people know him as being a GOBSHITE FROM LOVE ISLAND! Yep Maxted won this match, also can someone teach Adam Maxted to do a move that is Not a Dropkick? Not that you could see any move involving the ladder in anyway, because they edited in crowd shots to ruin any pacing!

The Fourway between Robbie X, Gabriel Kidd, Liam Slater and Crater ended in a No contest after the 3 cruiserweights bundled onto the Superheavyweight. And that's why you should never book a Onefall multi-man match!

Grado and Martin Kirby...i have to give it to them...WORST MATCH IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES! The secret to the contents of Grado's Bumbag was revealed by Kirby...a single toothbrush that he then scrubbed his armpits in and tried to force into Grado's mouth!

This existed....this....THIS WAS A THING.....THIS WAS A THING FILMED  AND BROADCAST ON NATIONAL TV!

After Kirby got a taste of his own medicine...and armpits!...He rolled up Grado for the 1, 2,3!

And finally Justin Sysum and Joe Hendry Put the Rampage Gang on Notice by Defeating Rampage Brown and Sha Samuels. With 3 episodes, left Sysum's title shot is looming over Stu Bennett's chosen champion, Rampage....BUT IT WON'T BE NEXT WEEK!

NEXT WEEK...WOS goes to the Dogs as Bulldog Junior faces "Alpha Male" Iysten Rees, and even the Women's Division will be as hard hitting, as Viper faces Ayesha. and for the 1st time in WOS history, we have a Mixed Tag between Will Ospreay and Bea Priestly vs Stevie Boy and Kay Lee Ray!  

WOS WRESTLING WEEK 6: UPHILL BATTLE

6 Weeks in and what i feared will happen, did! This week Simon Cowell's search for next year's 5 Minute Celebrity, all shows were put back by an hour. This meant the wrestling was now in the Pre-news Primetime slot of 5:30, but the Weekend Daytime Graveyard that is 4:30...

Despite that, this week's show was Brilliant despite the decreasing ratings!

We started in Thunderous Fashion with Bulldog Jnr. challenging Rampage for this British championship. Despite overpowering the Champ, The numbers game was too much for the Canadian. after the match The rampage gang attacked Smith until Justin Sysum ran in. GM Stu Bennett made a handicap match to punish Sysum, by making him face the rest of the Rampage Gang, and if he beats them he gets a title shot.

Submission match was a absolute treat! Martin Kirby came out with a sling and a sicknote "from his mum", claiming he twisted his hamstring whilst "styling his hair!" For those who don't get the joke...

and he also had Man-Flu....

So Hendry was not having none of that! Despite Kirby not being a submission wrestler, he gave Hendry as good as got, he even copied Hendry's own Hendry-Lock, which in the end was his own undoing after Hendry countered into the original!

If there was any doubt that wos would put the tag belt on an idiot who lost a belt in his last place of employ (AND I DOUBT ADAM MAXTED WILL EVER READ THIS, BUT YEAH, YOU SHOULD NEVER LIVE DOWN THE FACT YOU LOST/FORGOT TO BRING A TITLE BELT YOU HELD!) , Iestyn Rees and Kip Sabian, one of 2 only teams with collusion and a tag finish in this tourney, deservedly won over Nathan Cruz who had a sore back carrying about 18 stone of GOBSHITE FROM LOVE ISLAND! Cruz turned on Maxted, so Maxted becoming wos' own John Cena confirmed....

Finally, Sysum Defeated CJ Banks and Sha Samuels despite Rampage making himself known, Sysum's acumen shone out with a Outside Inside Flying spear and a 450 splash finish.

Next week: Crater eats 3 jobbers, Martin Kirby uncovers what's in Grado's Bumbag and we have Maxted and Cruz settle everything with an Loser Leaves WOS Ultimate Ladder Match....more on this booking next week!

WOS WRESTLING: WEEK 5: HALFWAY SMART MARK!

Hey, you are reading the 390th post of this blog! that means the 400th post will be coming soon! next week, i will have my winter schedule, to reveal what i will be planning to do for that event!

But until then....Welcome back to Enlightened Towers' review of World of Sport Wrestling!

First Match was the 1st semi finals for the tag team belts, to be decided next week! As BT Gunn and Stevie Boy faced Iestyn Rees and Kip Sabian, in a beautifully paced, action packed, back and forth match. My Words can't do it justice, THERE MUST BE VIDEO OF IT ON YOUTUBE! Rees and Sabian took advantage of a miscue and finish was a Doomsday Device!

In A supposed 3-way, Crater looked on menacingly as Gabriel Kidd and Liam Slater put on a technical Masterclass.
BUT NEVER MIND THAT SHIT! LETS HAVE THE 400 POUND MAN BEAT THE CRUISERWEIGHTS INTO PASTE! WHO BOOKED THIS?

YEAH, RIGHT! IF VINCE BOOKED WOS, BEA PRIESTLY WOULD BE DRESSED AS A BUSHWHACKER, GET OUTTA HERE!

Second qualifier and Adam "GOBSHITE FROM LOVE ISLAND" Maxted and Nathan Cruz defeated Grado and Bulldog Jnr after Grado hurt himself after trying to leapfrog Cruz, Stu Bennett, who screwed grado out of the title picture for the last 4 weeks chimed in hilariously (" HE HAD 5 CHEESEBURGERS IN CATERING TODAY...FOR BREAKFAST!") Cruz directed traffic wanting Maxted to cheat, but in the end Cruz targeted Grado's ankle in a figure four, as Maxted checked on Grado post match. Wait, are they going to turn Maxted Face...because he is somewhat good looking and because some people already know who he is?...are they....NO! THEY ARE TURNING MAXTED INTO THEIR OWN JOHN CENA!


And finally the entire women's division (ALL 5 OF THEM! The champion Kay lee Ray, Viper, Kacey, Bea, Ayesha and Viper ) Competed in an over the top rope battle royal. Nice to see Kacey Owens the Bella...(whoops potential spoiler) i mean the Belle of Belfast make her debut along side Mae Young Finalist Ayesha! The match made everyone look strong, which is never a given in a match made out to eliminate people, The finish was Kaylee having a hard time with the 2 larger women, until viper decked Ayesha and Kay lee Capitalized by Superkicking Viper over the top to retain!

Next week
The tag tournament ends with a heel vs heel match. Kirby vs Hendry 3 as a submission only match! and Bulldog Jnr faces Rampage for The British Championship!

Double Feature: Transatlantic Panic: Wos week 4 and Summerslam 2018

Part 1
Wos week 4: Mad Maxted, Fury Chode
SATURDAY!
The Match between Kay Lee Ray and Bea Priestly ended in a DQ. Or would if the THE REF remembered how run ins work! Because of interference by Viper and Ayesha, all four will have a battle royal next week.

Ospreay and Kirby, match of the night! Fast paced and a main event anywhere in the world.

Grado and Bulldog Junior qualified for the last spot in the tag tournament, after Crater decimated his partner, Robbie X.

Finally, Justin Sysum defeated Joe Hendry and Nathan Cruz, who replaced Maxted, because Maxted is Shite! WE DON'T WANT MIZ 2.0 KILLING BRITISH WRESTLING BEFORE IT EVEN RESTARTED! Sysum is an unbelievable wrestler, he finished the match with a corkscrew dropkick!

ONE DAY LATER.....

PART 2-SUMMERSLAM 2018: SHOOKLYN

On the pre-show, last month Rusev was challenging for the wwe championship, now he's carrying his tapeworm of a wife to a loss against Almas and Zelina Vega!

Cedric Alexander retained the cruiserweight championship-Noone Cared, But I would Have! and B-team Retained against Revival, No-one Cared, but i would have! Also it was so important that Vince put the little men on the preshow, because as you will see, time was precious(!)

Also Joe told Renee, congratulations on being part of a "2 income relationship" again!


We are off to a good start on the main show, with IC champion Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins. That Inverted Suplex into the Falcon Arrow, that will be every video for 2018 in wrestling Highlights til the end of time! Rollins is your new champion!

The Bludgeons attacked New day with...and nearly broke!....their papier mache Hammers for a DQ!

Braun bet Kevin Owens in a minute....Because Vince hates Fat men!

Charlotte bet Becky Lynch and Carmella to become the women's champion! Afterwards, Becky turned Heel on Charlotte...OR AT LEAST THAT WAS THE PLAN! Crowd wasn't to happy that Charlotte was added to this match that Becky worked so hard for! and boy howdy they popped when Becky clocked Charlotte!....VINCE IS GOING TO MAKE HER INTO THIS TO STOP PEOPLE CHEERING FOR HER, RIGHT?


The WWE Championship match was so slow and badly paced! and for added bad taste, Aj's wive and daughter were at ringside! Joe got disqualified after saying some shit to Aj's wife!

AND IT DIDN'T STOP THERE!
I had Miz Winning this match, but i was kid of hoping, with the emotion, with the bile, with 8 years of resentment....You would have done better than that! THIS WAS YOUR CHANCE TO PROVE ME WRONG ABOUT THE MIZ! YOU COULD HAVE HAD HIM WIN CLEANLY BY MAKING BRYAN TAP, BUT INSTEAD  MIZ WAS WANT HE ALWAYS IS, A CHEATING TALENTLESS BASTARD WHO CHEATS TO HIDE HIS LACK OF SKILL! YOU HAD THIS MATCH TO PROVE HE WAS AT EQUAL PEGGING TO BRYAN IN TERMS OF SKILL, AT THIS TIME AND WHAT DID YOU DO?

"YOU BLEW IT!"

The demon king Balor bet Baron Corbin in less than 2 minutes. Remember it was important that the tag belt and cruiserweight belts was on the pre-show, because who would wants to pay to see matches with short people?

Jeff hardy was so Focused when got his face kicked in by Nakamura!
