So it's time for the taste test as Heartbeat International has this year has graced us with not 3 BUT FOUR new Items, So let's get into it!

Actually I call them Heartbeat International,  but this maybe this'll be the last time you'll see that Logo, as on the packaging for contact number is the new Blanket name for all the ice cream brands under Unilever's Banner-Magnum Ice Cream Company, whether or not the rumours of a cookie Cutter brand in every country with regional market ice-cream obliterated.  We could have the return of Super split (Creamsicle) at the expense of the maxi Tub and the Hazelbrook Farm Vanilla Block? You better not!

MINECRAFT BAR

Please Ignore the fact Steve is in the photo used.  I guess they use both Main characters for the packaging 

Packaging: Metallic Teal Sky Over Metallic Green Grass. Picture of Item Next to Minecraft's Default Female Character Alex,  at the Bottom we are told of a scan Code for a Free in game item for Anyone who Actually plays.

Calorie Count: 73 calories in 46g Item

Flavour: Green Food Colouring and Vanilla Colouring "Grass" over a Layer of Chocolate "Dirt" layer, which Sits on Vanilla Ice-cream "Ore" with Blue Colour Rice ball "Diamonds" in a sliced version of Big Bite

Taste: Had to Consume Quickly Because it melts as soon as you look at it.

Despite the Third Party Money, once again like the movie,  the Ice cream invocation is every bit the disappointment. Eating this Green food colouring vanilla and chocolate mishmash invokes Memories of Irish Shops who sell "Irish Cones" by spilling Goodall's Green into the machine. So eating this doesn't bring up, going to Minecraft to Slay The Enderman, no it drums up let's stand on a street, in the rain, looking at Tractors pull a trailer filled with Rugby Players in Drag!

VOLCANIX

Packaging: Black with item in centre. Cross section of Item shows item is filled with 5 different layers of flavours and textures-in keeping with the volcano theme, Caramel pieces and sauce spew like lava and volcanic debris.

Calorie Count: a Sturdy 231 calories in a 75g item.

Flavour: choc ice which Contains Biscuit pieces in outer layer with vanilla Ice-cream that hides a 3 layered core of chewy Caramel balls, Caramel sauce and chocolate Ice-cream.

Taste: First it smells amazing: if there is one thing Heartbeat International did right, it's Dark chocolate. Now to the first bite, which uncovered a layer of Caramel balls which leads to some falling to the floor like ball bearings. Second bite reveals a layer of balls held in the sauce layer. A third bite causes the ball layer to vanish, changing the flavour profile. The next and final bite are the remaining Caramel, chocolate mouse like ice cream and Signature vanilla. An adventurous ice cream that changes its flavour profile with every bite- and each experience is delicious. 

It took me two days to get this out, so the following two tests are In fact made a day later.

(24 Hours And a Balanced Breakfast Later)

MAGNUM LA-PISTACHE SIGNATURE 

Packaging: Item is resting on chocolate Brown,  white and Clover panels with Pistachio on the Clover panels.

Calorie Count: 233 in a 70g Item

Flavour: Pistachio Ice-cream with Pistachio core covered in Pistachio chocolate shell half dipped in milk chocolate with mixed nut nibs in shell.

Taste: The chocolate Shell is so thick, one bite causes that bitten side's chocolate to fall off from the smooth Ice-cream. I'm confused to why there is a core of the exact same flavour of the Ice-cream, but the milk chocolate and Mixed nuts does give some variety. Personally I think Dubai Chocolate is overrated, and Magnum has released far more interesting flavours.

CORNETTO MAX HAZELNUT & CHOCOLATE 

Packaging: Chocolate Brown with hazelnut photos, and white and gold logos

Calorie Count: The Heftiest Count this year-279 in a 82g Cone including Cones

Flavour: Exactly what it says on the tin.  Chocolate and Hazelnut Ice-cream filled wafer core topped with Caramel sauce, and topped with a hazelnut and Chocolate disc.

Taste: Disc when Bitten into doesn't break like solid chocolate, but instead melt into a blob of Nutella (Which makes sense since Ferrero is also a Unilever Brand) remnants of the disc slides on a sea of Caramel, causing attempts to eat the whole disc a messy one. Polishing off the disc and sauce leaves only the icecream, which if it was still just vanilla, wouldn't be anything to write home about.

And we are not even done yet! Join me this time tomorrow, when we crawl to the surface with Pringles, as we review Pringles Fallout Mystery Flavour. 

TASTE TEST 2K25: Eamonn reviews the REAL New Twister ( Twister Mallow)

 So....what else can I tell you but

Back in February, I Reviewed Twister Sour N Sweet, convinced it was the new flavour for Twister for this year.

It wasn't!

And here is why you are constantly behind the eight ball, when reviewing limited edition food every year.

As it stands here in Ireland,  Petrol Stations will only turn on their Soft serve Ice-cream machines in March. In kind,  ice cream vans will their make journeys at the same time. 

To that end, the Icecream companies would reveal their new products a month before, usually by a brand new Pricelist/Display with the new fare front and centre. 

OR AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE!

No Instead, they shadowdropped the new Magnums. In February, given how popular Chill and Euphoria were, they had slots to fill with new Product. 

Twister Mallow was not ready. So they gave the shops here More of the Twisters that were previously limited to bump up numbers and I fell for it. Until they supplied the new Pricelist this month.

And even then, there is still no Single Purchase version of Twister Mallow. I'm Reviewing the Multipack mini version. But I resolved a long time ago to Not give the People Exactly what they want, But to give them Something! As Such I'm reviewing 2 mini Twisters of the new flavour for a Equal experience but allowances of size and Number had to be made.

2 MINI TWISTER MALLOWS

Packaging: Clear Plastic

Calorie Count: Two 43 Calorie Mini Ice-pops eating in Quick Succession to Mimic eating a full sized Item!

Flavour: Vegan Pea Protein Marshmallow and Strawberry ice Spirals Entwine a Purple Grape Core.

Taste: Bizzare...In a Good way!

The Marshmallow, In conjunction with the Strawberry ice, when Thawed in the Mouth gives the illusion of a Strawberry Milkshake, which Then Yields into A punch of Purple Grape Which is oddly bitter, but Refreshing. If The Full sized Item is anything to go by, then counting the Magnum Utopias which I already Tested. Heartbeat International are 3 for 3 for Great Icecream flavours!

Monday will see the results of the Battle Riot. And then it's onto Wrestlemania. With the announcement of the Switch 2 will we see a Smash 6? If it get announced? Well, I've been holding back on a tier list like the young'uns have being making on Youtube for a while and It's being too long since Theme Month, (Tarotober was 2 years ago!) But I'll go it more in my Summer Schedule....Only If Smash 6 Gets announced!

Taste test 2K25: Magnum Utopia and Twister Sour and sweet

 (This Post was formerly an apology post due to my smartphone being broken and needing to replaced. as Mentioned, that post was always going to be replaced by this one.)

Welcome back or to Enlightened Towers...Where it's my 16 year anniversary!

And as such, it's time for our traditional food review, the 1st review I ever did when this was the direction I wanted to go online. With a food review.  Specifically,  Heartbeat international's Ice-cream for the European Market!

FRUIT ZINGER TWISTER SOUR AND SWEET

Flavour: Green Apple, Lemon and Blueberry 

Wrapper Appearance: Light Purple wrapper and everything is par the course. Photo of Item lunges out of a Kika, 2 closeups of the Item act as a border and photos of the fruits involved and the bragging of the lack of Artificial Flavours. Though 65 calories is the lightest this 72g Item has ever been.

Taste: the lemon and Green Apple,  especially the Apple spirals are toe-curlingly sour, though the Blueberry is a Reprieve from Complete Acidity, and ties the two together in a consistent Flavour profile throughout. Will definitely recommend this Flavour on a hot day.

MAGNUM UTOPIA DOUBLE CHERRY

Flavour: Blackcurrant& Raspberry marbled Ice-cream, in a layer of Cherry sauce and Covered in a shell of milk chocolate which is embedded with dried summer fruits. The 71g

Wrapper Appearance: Item, A Blob of cherry sauce and a trio berries lie on a pink square on a wrinkled piece of pink Fabric. 

Calorie Count: 213

Taste: The Fruity and rich cocoa Aroma are tempting me while observing to write this paragraph, waiting no longer, I bite into the Item. The chocolate shell adds more crunch than the little pellets of dried fruit that also have little flavour. However that thankfully cannot be said for the cherry sauce that kicks like a mule on first bite. Raspberry and Blackcurrant ice cream rippled with vanilla is sweet and Satisfying til the final bite. A wonderful little treat!

MAGNUM UTOPIA DOUBLE HAZELNUT 

Flavour: Hazelnut & Almond Caramel Marbled Ice-cream,  covered in salted hazelnut Glaze, in enclosed in white chocolate with pieces of hazelnuts,  pistachio and Almonds within.

Wrapper Appearance: Item,  A Blob of caramel and a trio of nuts lie on a Sepia Square on a wrinkled golden Fabric 

Calorie Count: 245 in a 70 and a half gram Item.

Taste: Sadly, the Item I bought has cracks and caramel leaking through the surface, so cannot  judge on Appearance, so straight to taste.

The caramel sauce is sweet, and it takes some time to register that it has a Salty Element to it. The Hazelnut & Caramel Ice-cream, I was dreading that it was going to be Heavy, but gladly no. Usually nut based Ice-cream feels like bowling ball after you eat it, but surprisingly this was light, despite being the most Calorific of this year's limited editions.

And that will do it for the Ice-cream review. But I am not done with food reviews!

ICECREAM 2K24 TASTE TEST: TWISTER BERRYLICIOUS, MAGNUM EUPHORIA AND MAGNUM CHILL

 Stone the Crows, they actually have the new products in shops the same week they announced them! 

So lets get into it!

HB TWISTER BERRYLICIOUS

Package Colour: Indigo, Blue, Dusky Pink, and Purple Gradients into each other, Par the course, Both sides are Bookmarked by a Closeup of Photos of the Item. A Full Photo of the Item on the right and a Photo of A Blueberry, Raspberry and 2 Blackcurrants. Next to the Item, a Rolling Stones-esque Lips Shouts a Blurb that tells us it "Naturally Colours Your Tongue!"

Flavour: As Stated, Blueberry, Raspberry and Blackcurrant Ice-lolly!

Calorie Count: a lean 68 (ALMOST!) In a 72G Item

Taste: Biting down on a mouthful and Pressing it to the roof of my mouth, causes it to melt and Explode with Flavour! Though Delicious, what I said last year has come through-they are running out of Ideas. This feels like any Dilute or Squash you can add water to, with the Colour change Gimmick added to entertain Kids!

HB MAGNUM EUPHORIA PINK LEMONADE

Package Colour: Panels of Pink and White Surrounding A Pink Circular Pink-tinted Contents of a lava lamp, making the logo. On the Right on top of the Panels, The Item, a Curled up thin slice of Lemon and 2 Raspberries!

Flavour: Lemon Icecream Surrounds Core of Raspberry Sorbet, Set in White Chocolate Shell Decorated with Popping Candy and Pink Sugar Pellets.

Calorie Count: A Belt-Bursting 901 calories in a (SIGH!) 69g Choc-ice!

The Red core can be Seen Through the pale cream and White Chocolate. The White Icecream is not Vanilla, it's Lemonade, so the Sharp Citrus Flavour will astonish those who didn't read the ingredients. The Citrus is very Sharp and Strong, You almost Trick Your Mind by Nearly Burping for Carbonation that doesn't exist! Second Bite reveals the Raspberry Core, adding the "Pink" to "Pink Lemonade", And Adding Popping Candy is always Fun, Maybe that's why this ties back to calling it "Euphoria".

HB MAGNUM CHILL ICECREAM (WELL I HOPE THEY DID! ELSEWISE IT'LL MELT!)

Package Colour: Exactly the Same Premise as the Previous Except with Purple and Brown Panels surrounding a Purple-Tinted Lava Lamp. On top of Panels 1 Item, a Single Blueberry and 2 Crumbs of Chocolate Cookie/Brownie.

Flavour: Vegan Biscuit infused Vanilla,( a first for the Limited Editions!) smothering a heart of Blueberry Sorbet, covered in a milk chocolate shell with biscuit pieces. As someone who very recently had to babysit children during Christmas on a sugar rush filled with chocolate, there is nothing "Chill" about this flavour!

Calorie Count: a slightly less chonky 892 in a 70g item

Taste: Thick Chocolate shell with the Shrapnel of biscuits provide a loud and Satisfying "CRUNCH!" The Vanilla Ice-cream is infused with a light note of Biscuit spices. Second bite reveals the Sorbet, and provides a Contrast to the heavy Chocolate biscuit. While the first Magnum is a combination of Flavours that combines into one Form, here we have the Opposite, two flavours that Contrast each other and still do the job of having its own identity.

This may be the first time we don't have a "Bad" Flavour or a "Better" Flavour!

TASTE TEST 2K22: MAGNUM REMIXES, TWISTER MYSTICOOL PHOENIX AND CORNETTO CHOCOLATEY AND COOKIES

 MAGNUM WHITE CHOCOLATE AND BERRY REMIX

Package colour: Black and White design with the item hovering over the alternate colours, on the coloured panels. It's designed to look like a Milk chocolate chunk, a White Chocolate chunk and a raspberry are floating in liquid.

Calorie Count: 929

Taste: These Special Editions are smaller than the regular, But to Compensate they fill it with big Flavour, Including this year's Magnum series. That's right it's more than one this year! Taking on the food trend of Deconstruction, The Magnum reinvented itself a Double Sized Raspberry Ripple In a Half-and-half Chocolate Shell

Shell has thin depth, But good texture and Mouthfeel, But Raspberry is Famously overpowering, Being double ripple there is more raspberry than vanilla on display, it was about time they changed the script. In fact it was ME! who said last year I was getting a little bit bored of Vanilla rippled with whatever was  mixed with the chocolate. I'm not saying I'm the one who caused the change, that would be a vain comment to make, I'm just happy change has happened!

MAGNUM ALMOND REMIX

Package colour: Exactly the same as above, But Replace the world "Raspberry" with "1 and a half Almonds"

Calorie Count: 961

Taste: the outer shell is exactly like the other, However to Differentiate it from the above, Clusters of Nuts are Embedded in the chocolate. The last time Magnum Used praline, I suggested they used a Praline/ Vanilla Ripple to cut down the heaviness. I know this is just another coincidence that my Suggestions seemed answered in New Products, but after tasting it done in practice, I'm glad the taste wasn't too heavy, despite its 900 plus Calories.

CORNETTO SOFT COOKIE AND CHOCOLATE

Package Colour: Purple With Chocolate Syrup and Cookie crumbs with Pencilled Decals of Vines, Seashells, Swirls and triangles.

Calorie Count: 917 in a 81 gram item.

Taste: Vanilla and Chocolate Blended Ice-cream in a standard wafer cone with a chocolate filled tip, Ending in the Signature Soft swirl covered in Chocolate Syrup and dusted with cookies. It's being done before in other desert and confectionery mediums. With good reason: Covering Chocolate with More Chocolate is a decadent flavour, but how will HB continue to use Plastic domes for their cornettos, in a more green-minded World?

TWISTER MYSTICOOL PHOENIX

Package Colour: panels of red, orange and yellow in a flame motif. On each side a border made of a photo of the item. A photo of the item shows sparks and embers of red orange and yellow convey the imagery of the Legendary Firebird. Once again, as part of the kids range, Photos of an Orange Slice, a mango served "Hedgehog Style" and a single raspberry. And it's boosting of "Only 66 Calories". But once again, I must add mixing juices from different sources makes this more sugary than any mineral.

Calorie Count: However 66 Calories is nothing to be sneezed at!

Taste: remembering the last time I reviewed a twister icelolly, I have a bowl on standby should it fall off the stick after one bite. Surprisingly, the item stood firm. Much like Peekablue before it. Every bite of Phoenix, Melts into a flavour consistent with the Mouthfeel of a smoothie. Also another gripe that I mentioned before that us now remedied, the mango yellow stripe is a more brighter yellow colour as opposed to it being a urine colour.

Overall, a Great Batch thus year, I will probably have more of these this Summer, Beyond this Review.

TASTE TEST 2K21-ICE CREAM REVIEW-13TH BIRTHDAY SPECIAL

 A New Year and New Limited Edition Icecream have Sprung from Nowhere. Usually You have to wait til St Patrick's Day for them to appear, But on Sunday the 12th, the day this blog was created 13 years ago, The new Heartbeat International (aka HB, WALLS, Mika, Frisko, Streets, etc!) released these. Its's a small review, as it's almost a set routine now: 1 Magnum, 1 Cornetto, and 1 Kids Range Item

We Will be Starting With the Latter Going from Cheapest to Dearest (though it's now shopkeeper's Discretion on how much they can charge for an item!)

TWISTER PEEKABLUE

Package Colour: Sky Blue With Swirls Imitating the ice-lolly on both sides, A photo of the Photo of Triple Helix Shaped Pop is shown (With the Yellow Photoshopped not to look like Piss-Yellow) Next to A slice of Mango, a Slice of Green Apple, Half a Strawberry and Blueberry! The Package also Lauded the new shape (Twister is a Double Helix and how the Treat is made from Real Juice and is Responibly made for children!)

....which MEANS THIS ITEM WITH ALL NATURAL SUGARS FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES IS PROBABLY WORSE THAN ANY ONE CAN OF MINERAL!

Calorie Count: at least it's a Respectable 278

An Ice-lolly of 3 intertwined Colours and Flavours-Pink Strawberry, Blueberry, Urine Yellow Mango and apple somewhere in-between!

Taste: Get the Wet-wipes Ready, Mams, Cos this is a Shirt-Destroyer. Mere Seconds after taking a bite, and the whole thing Gives up the Ghost. Flavourwise, It reminds me of a Smoothie made from scratch. Delicious, but be wary when buying this for Young kids as it will melt off the stick!

 

CORNETTO SOFT CHOCOLATEY

Package Colour: Brown with Plastic Top

Calorie Count: a square 900!

An extra Soft Version of Classico, sans Nuts. So it tastes Nice! SO WHAT? you can get this in any Petrol Station or Bread and Milk Shop with an icecream Machine and ask for Syrup yourself already. PROBABLY CHEAPER TOO!

MAGNUM DOUBLE GOLD CARAMEL BILLIONAIRE

Package: (Couldn't find image of single Purchase ) Sepia with Stripes of gold,Brown and Orange. 2 Caramel chocolate Buttons sit under the label.

Calorie Count: 964

Biscuit and Pecan and Vanilla Ripple icecream, a layer of Caramel sauce, Covered in a Caramel glazed white Chocolate shell with Biscuit Pieces.

5 hours after digesting the last one. It's the €2:90 main event, Heartbeat's signature treat.

Taste: So Clearly Heartbaeat has not learned there lesson from last year's Ruby chocolate Magnum and again, opted for a ripple flavoured like the exterior! It's Just Lazy-LAZIER SINCE THEY DONE IT TWICE IN A ROW NOW! If i hadn'r being doing these for years now, i would say on it's own merit, this is pretty good. But it's making me pine for when they would release multiple limited editions over a summer, like the seven sins Magnums or the Cornetto Love Potions!

TASTE TEST 2K20: EAMONN REVIEWS MAGNUM RUBY COLLECTION AND MERMAID CORNETTO

Amid the Corona Virus Pandemic, we have reasons to be cheerful, and we have 2 right here!

MAGNUM RUBY COLLECTION
Package Colour: Blush Pink With Cocoa Bean Print
Calorie Count: 917
Flavour: Raspberry/Vanilla Ripple Icecream encased in Ruby Chocolate. Ruby Choclate is the recently Discovered Fourth Kind of Chocolate, Creating by Processing the Entire Berry not just the Beans, which are the seeds. Up until recently it was a trade secret Known only to Nestle, But it's still somewhat of a Luxury Item. Side Note: 2019 was the 30th anniversary of the magnum Brand so if Heartbeat had permission last year we could have had Ruby Chocolate for the Ruby Anniversary!
Taste: at 72 grams, this icecream is tiny! Who can something that weighs that much have a 900 plus change calorie count? This is more an Amousebouch than a desert. Be that as it may, the Raspberry like flavour and creamy texture of the chocolate would compliment any one flavour of icecream but to mix it with a raspberry ripple, when the chocolate itself has a raspberry like taste is confusing. It's not bad, i just wish it was bigger!

MERMAID CORNETTO
Package colour: Blue with scale Motif and nautical Decorations!
Calorie Count: 827
Flavour: Raspberry Sorbet, Matcha Green tea icecream, raspberry sauce in a Beetroot wafer cone, half-filled with chocolate, covered in White chocolate balls. edible Silver Glitter and Quote "Blue Nautical themed Biscuit Pieces" in reality they are all Stars!
Taste: Bright pink Sorbet, Nuclear Green icecream, Edible Glitter and Viagra Blue Biccies. Why does it look like a dancefloor after a 90s rave? also why make a "Trendy" Cornetto, putting in a Green Tea icecream and calling it Mermaid? what is the connection, if any? It tastes fine it's just... weird!

TASTE TEST 2K19: RICE FUSION PRINGLES

I planned to review the new Heartbeat International Icecream but my Ambition...no scratch that..My Expectation of any Shop having all the new products in my hometown so until this is resolved, a Different Review Entirely.

Pringles have always being the company that turned the simple spud into snack sensation, But how would they fare with Weaving Reformed Rice into their Snacks?

INDIAN TANDOORI CHICKEN

Nutritional Info: 610 calories in 30g Serving, Suitable for Vegetarians!
Not a Good Start, Dry curry Powder, No taste of chicken Underneath the Crisp of reformed Rice. you could get a Budget microwave curry for the price of this, and it would have real chicken in it!

PEKING DUCK WITH HOISIN SAUCE
Colour: Grass Green
Nutritional Info: 609 calories in 30g Serving
Suitable for Vegetarians
Peppered with Star Anise and lathered in Hoisin sauce, this at least has the taste of duck under these usually overpowering spices and sauces! Cast your Mind back to the very first review on this blog, and you'll remember i criticized Walker's Duck and "POISON" Sauce 10 years ago! But Pringles succeeded where Walkers has Failed!

MALAYSIAN RED CURRY
Colour: Terracotta
Nutritional Info: 609 Calories in 30g Serving
Suitable for Vegetarians
The Spiciest Of the 3, Curry Power and Beef flavouring makes this the best of the bunch!

As of right now, I have no Idea what the state of World of Sport Wrestling's tv deal is in. They just finished a glorious sell out tour of Britain this week, so I'm expecting an announcement soon. I am also expecting confirmation of AEW having a tv deal, but it would help if they had a tv show beforehand! So fair, The Young Bucks are what they were in Japan, 2 hypemen with Huge T-shirt sales!

To the surprise of absolutely noone, Impact refuses to show their ppvs live in Britain and Ireland! I never had a problem so long as they were released that week, live is great, one day later is fine, 3 days is pushing it. BUT A WEEK AFTER THE FACT IS A FUCKING JOKE! ICE CREAM 2K18: THE MOST UNINSPIRING BATCH YET!

With it being A World Cup Year, you would think Heartbeat International would introduce a Limited Edition...I don't know...Pavlova Magnum...Instead the Icecream review has passed the ball so Cadbury's, Walkers, Pringles or Doritos may score with their Limited Editions!

This year HB has went and copied what the German Value Supermarkets already made, rather than the other way round, With such RADICAL Ideas like
A Choc-Ice with Nuts (wow!)
A Calipo with 2 flavours! (GASP!)
OR an icecream....flavoured with....VANILLA! (YOU MANIACS!)

Actually I couldn't find the branded Vanilla Mini Milks, and much like you when i heard that Mini Milk of all icecreams, were getting a new flavour i was like...


So i had to settle for the Aldi branded Vanilla mini milk as a point of reference, it tastes like you'd expect, like Frozen Diluted Milk...with Vanilla!


MAGNUM HAZELNUT PRALINE
Wrapper Colour: Purple with Hazelnut Motif
Calories: 1005
Taste; Seriously, Put this item against a Almond Magnum and you won't be able to tell the difference, but beyond the shell, that's where the differences end, Thick Praline Icecream underneath the chocolate and all the way through. I would have appreciated If the Praline was Rippled with Vanilla to alleviate the Heaviness and with it being a 1000 calories, you will feel Full after this!

 
CALIPPO COMBO (STRAWBERRY AND VANILLA)
Wrapper Colour: One side White, the Other side Pink, the word Calippo is Spread over a Pink Splash as Strawberries fly from all Directions As it's Marketed for Children, HB's mascot, Max the Lion, Appears, seemingly punching an Errant Strawberry out of his way!

Taste: The Calippo. A Sadistic Design of Ice Block in a Fragile Paper Tube. Stainer of Shirts, Ruiner of Countless Days outs. An Argument waiting to Happen!
Popping the seal, A Bouquet of Synthetic Strawberry like a Red car Air Freshener wafts through. Putting a finger on the foodstuff, because it doesn't like ice, gives me a surprise: it's made of Sorbet now! the light flavours picks me up after the heavy Praline. Will still ruin your Shirt if you are not careful!

ICECREAM 2K17: EAMONN REVIEWS MAGNUM DOUBLE RASPBERRY AND MAX DUO

Conspicuous by it's absence last year, the reason i didn't  review Magnum when they were "NEW" Last summer is became they where not new! they were flavours back in 2001-2004 and then they were discontinued!

However, here we are again with a flavour that IS NEW! as well as the an icecream that may be too decadent to waste on children!

MAGNUM DOUBLE RASPBERRY
Wrapper Colour: Cheetah print
Calories 998
Flavour: Raspberry icecream encased in raspberry coulis smothered in thick layer of milk chocolate.
It's also smaller that the standard Magnum, this is the size of lightbulb!
Taste: the thick layer of chocolate cracks and the coulis oozed forwards, the thickness of the chocolate and sharp and creamy raspberry flavour, almost reminds me of a Lindt Cream Easter egg...on a stick!

ok, cup of coffee, a glass of juice, a quick flossing and my mouth has being purged of it's flavour so i can give a full non-partisan review of the next icecream!

MAX DUO
Wrapper Colour: White and Brown with Jungle Leaf Curtains. Since this part of the children's line (pun intended) the mascot Max the Lion is etched the wrapper running toward the viewer holding the item.
Calories: 389
Flavour; 2 pieces of what i assumed was icecream, one vanilla, one chocolate, side to side and half dipped in chocolate.
Taste: I bite in, And i am taken aback by the strange texture of the the Duo! what ever i am eating is not icecream! it tastes more like a marshmallow than an icecream! i like marshmallows, but i wanted marshmallows, i would have bought Marshmallows! No wonder there is a obese child crisis! if this is what we are giving kids! fake icecream! YOU'RE HAVING A LAUGH!

Well now, weren't we busy for the 4 months I stop reviewed TNA, weren't you, Dixie?

Let's have a little recap!

After that Fan-Wank of a Bound For Glory in North Carolina which saw Home State Boy, Fatt Lardy win the Title, their was a problem. As you know the tv deal with The Bigfoot Channel That Care Jack Shit About Wrestling was not being Renewed. but they had extended their clause until January, leaving Tna high and dry for the next 3 months with no new matches. So the idea was struck to write a storyline that Ethan Carter was so BUTTHURT By losing the Belt, that he actually put a restraining order on Matt Hardy, denying him from entering work, so Hardy Dropped the Belt, and Internet Content Matches were now cobbled together into a fake Tournament, one that had male on female violence, Eli Drake's magical Colour changing Hair, discarded titles, and it culminated into a final that was THE EXACT SAME MATCH THAT STARTED THE ENTIRE MESS IN THE FIRST PLACE, and served only to put the belt back on the Company Killer.

But then came the Rematch!
I have no love lost for Ethan Carter, i still stand by the things i said, and he has blocked me on Twitter (that in itself is funny, since i have no desire to follow wrestlers,since eventually they will be booked in a way people don't like!) But for Hardy to give Carter a unprotected chair shot to the Head? Matt Hardy is a 20 year veteran, he's seen first hand what concussion can do to a person! and for TNA to sanction this? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! I don't like the man, true, but I don't want to see him turned into a vegetable!

so venting over, Welcome to Rivals, a lazily booked One SHITE Only!, where matches you've seen before are re-hashed without rhyme or reason. ALL ABROAD THE LAZY TRAIN!

1st match was one of the few Good talking points of the Fake Tourney! Davey Richards vs Eddie Edwards Wrestled to a draw that night, but Saturday Night this was one fall to a finish, a superb match with technical flair and a bit of comedy sneaked in for good Measure, Edwards won with a roll-up and they shook hands afterwards, thus dispelling any split up rumours

First two Carriage of the Lazy Train pulled into the Station. Young stole Melendez Prosthetic Leg, Again and Galloway bet Drake, Again!

Next was Mockstar Dud vs Tigre Uno, whose body has really suffered the brunt of the Forgetton titles during the fake tourney. But his shoulder held out, because seriously, it's a face booked Spud he's facing! and Face spud is not that fun to watch!

Another taking point was the Rise of Mahabli Shera during the Tourney (but only because TNA wanted to tour India and put the title on him, but the recent ISIS attacked proved a risk they couldn't take!) and his incredible body slam on Bobby Lashley, But being the outside The Theme Park, none of the fans were having none of the Shera Shuffle, and without the support, Lashley made quick work of the Indian

Then the rest of the Lazy Train came in. Fatt Lardy and Ethan MidCarder wrestled to a pathetic double count out, The Beautiful People defeated the Dollhouse, again, Robbie E was defeated by Jessie GlassJawz, again, But not before gesturing to Jesse during a promo to hold the mic 2 inches from his face, a call back to the Hardcore Justice One night only 2 years ago! And Mr Anderson beat Bram, Again!

I WAITED 6 DAYS AFTER AMERICA, FOR THIS?

Well that's it! I'm going to buy a Stress Ball or something, When I come back, I'll have results of TNA Joker's Wild next month, Fastlane on the enlightenedtowers tumblr, And the day after St Patrick's Day, It's officially Icecream  Season, so Heartbeat International will release the new Limited Edition Magnum(s) and/or Cornetto(es)
