IPW 22/03/19: THE END OF HAVOC

1st it was PAC, This week we say goodbye once again, as Jimmy Havoc, who was IPW champion for 700 days leaves for AEW, We also have a battle Royal Qualifier and A number One Contenders Match for Sierra Loxton's Women's Championship In This the Penultimate episode of this season. More on that next week, when i hope to have more word after the broadcast!

We open with the former tag champs The Anti-Fun Police vs The Ojmo and Miles Caymen. this time trying their luck as heels. Santos picked up the win with a swinging Skull Crushing Finale, So that how that move should look like if Done BY AN ACTUAL WRESTLER, AND NOT A GOBSHITE FROM MTV!

Next we have a qualifying match for the International Battle Royal, a PPV-style event next Sunday(30/04/19) which is exclusive to their website, Follow @IPWUK on twitter for more Info, i won't be reviewing it, because i only review televised shows!

Ricky Knight Junior (the brother of WWE'S Paige) had a shock victory against last year's winner, Kip Sabian. If they are teasing a heel turn,  for Sabian, do it after he whoops Chris Ridgeway!

In the scheduled number one contenders match between Zoe Lucas and Jayde, Jayde was a np-show so out came the former champion, Bobbi Tyler who according to storyline was a bit of an Orcus on His throne, when she was champion-Barely putting the title up and that! Despite Zoe starting quick despite the shocking return from Japan! Lyons was no Match for Bobbi's Power and Craftiness. With an Armbar, the former champion will face The Welshwoman, Loxton at the International Battle Royale

Finally in a match between to All Elite T-shirts (Give me a British tv Deal for me to watch Double Or Nothing in two months Time, and maybe change my mind!) Jimmy Havoc faced MJF ,THE POORMAN'S EC3, Which is still considerately richer than most people! Maxwell Jacob Freeman (YES THAT'S HIS NAME!) Got on the mic to deride Havoc, Blah blah blah,  I'm richer than you, Hardcore is Dead, You are not on my Level, Basic heel promo, Then he tried to bribe Havoc with a fiver to lay down, Jimmy used the fiver to give freeman a papercut and then bite him in then newly caused wound!

Jimmy Havoc beat MJF in this testimonial match at IPW. Though MJF was no slouch in this match either, good heel work lots of power, and mugging,  the kind of thing you will expect from an archetypal  "Better than You" heel. He got his comeuppance when he spat at Havoc! Despite Following up the Disrespect with Powerbomb , a Package Driver and a DDT! Havoc decked MJF in the Love-Spuds and finished him with the Acid Rainmaker!

After the Embarrassment of the year Before, A fight started to take the Women's Division Seriously would gain Traction in the next 9 Years, Despite what The Bellas Skanks would say Publicly in interviews, this was an effort by everyone in the division.

However, Their Work was cut out for them!

WRESTLEMANIA 26-HOG SPLASH...JUST... HOG SPLASH!
Nothing says Disinterest more than cramming multiple talent, regardless of skill, age or Storyline into a Multi-Tag Match. And Nothing is more Disrespectful as having a Middle Aged,  Out of Shape, NON-WRESTLER, like  Vickie Guerrero Defeating a team of young, Competent (MOSTLY Competent! Kelly Kelly was on the losing team!) women. The Match was put in front of the Main event in The women's Match familiar spot of "Graveyard Shift"

WRESTLEMANIA 27!-CELEBRITY SHIT SANDWICH
Wrestlemania fucking sucked
It was the only time Cena didn't Bury GOBSHITE FROM MTV! And I hold the belief that Miz being wwe Champion Nearly Bankrupted WWE! You can have your opinion, but that's mine! Michael Cole and Jerry Didn't help Matters either!

BUT DON'T WORRY! WWE HAD A RINGER TO PUT DA YOOF IN THEIR SEATS!

THAT'S RIGHT SNOOKI FROM JERSEY WHORES BECAME A WRESTLER FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Snooki somehow got involved in the feud between John Morrison (Now Johnny Impact, Johnny Mundo, Johnny [INSERT NAME OF INDIE PROMOTION]) And Dolph Ziggler. Snooki would get the win and take all the exposure away from the actual wrestlers. It was reported at the time that Morrison was very vocal about then Girlfriend Melina not being his partner in the match and left wwe soon after!

WRESTLEMANIA 28-CELEBRITY SHIT SANDWICH, A LA MODE!
No one Cares about Rosa Mendes valeting the Colons in the Preshow to victory because Every Noun In that Sentence doesn't Matter!

The wild Decision to open the show with Daniel Bryan losing in 17 seconds to Lame-Arse! (who is triple H's workout Partner and Biggest Asskisser at the time!) The Match was Criticized because it scapegoated a Women, (Aj Lee) For the loss. In the long run, This decision will light a fire under Both Bryan and Lee, Lee would later become the longest Reigning Divas Champion,

(SIDE NOTE: Though Never Contested at wrestlemania at this point, The Women's Title was abolished and merged into this Mattel-Esque Monstrosity!)

We also had More Celebrity Bullshit as Kelly Kelly and Maria "Bikini Skank from e!" Menounous faced Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix after they crashed E News! Maria would bury Beth in What was (at the time) her last Match, Which was why Menounous was Booed-The-Fuck At the Royal Rumble Last Year.

Eve Would do Double Duty in the GM vs GM Tag That was overbooked to hell! Also, Nikki Bella should never do introductions ever again (The Fuck is a "STANDARD-BARRIER"?) Eve would turn on Zack Ryder, and Smackdown to ensure Johnny Ace was the double GM. and make Eve into a stooge who would get hers being publicly fired on tv (In truth she was getting Married and retiring regardless)

Some People liked Eve But all she did was dance and bikini contests and she was the last Diva Search Winner, and as you could tell, I have no time for Bikini Models who came to wwe for a paycheck!

WRESTLEMANIA 29-ONE IS THE LONELIEST NUMBER!
A year later and Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee were on sepearate sides in the match for the wwe tag belts as Daniel and Kane retained against Lee's team of Dolph Ziggler and Big E!
AND THAT WAS IT FOR WOMEN'S REP IN WRESTLEMANIA 2013!

WRESTLEMANIA 30-BURYING BAD NEWS

We all remember this Moment, but do you remember who won the watch straight after?
After history was made in the most shocking way possible, Diva's champion Aj Lee retained against everyone else with boobs, but the crowd, and commentary were too shocked to notice. Daniel Bryan winning the title, a match with 3 years of build, had no chance of to being overshadowed by The Streak Being Broken.

So what chance did a Last Minute Lump-Together have?

In the months afterwards, many of the Diva's Division would go on social media to vent their Frustration. They ended all tweets with #GiveDivasAChance, However Politicking was still Rife! Aj Lee's Longest reign was cut off By Nikki Bella's whose reign will become the longest-BECAUSE SHE WAS FUCKING JOHN CENA!

She never deserved the belt and for her taking full credit for #givedivasachance Pissed me Off!

Nattie would Devolve into a valet for her Husband Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in a tag match and Aj Lee, who was on her way out tagged with Paige Defeated the Bella Skanks, But only because the belt can't be won in a tag match!

BUT THE DAYS FOR THE LIKES OF NIKKI BELLA, AND THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE HER WERE NUMBERED!

WRESTLEMANIA 32-THE GAME CHANGES!

Finally 3 years ago, the wwe gave us what we wanted!
A main event worthy Title Match

History was made in Texas as much like 16-the previous players were replaced with new characters, Not only was the word "Diva" Now abolished, But a new Women's Title belt Created in the style of the WWE championship, in a direct message-The Women's Belt is now on equal footing to Men's Belt. Despite a Match on the Preshow to promote the vapid (and soon to be cancelled!) Total Divas, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch starred in a big marquee Match with Over-the top entrances that rivaled the men's title matches, Being led through a side passage as a Trump supporting chauvinist singing the same songs he did when he was half his age, no longer cut it! Back then i did a full-play-by play of this match something i rarely do, unless it's really good! In the End this was a step in the Right Direction!

WRESTLEMANIA 33-SEPERATION ANXIETY
Following the return of the Brand Split WWE decided to Split the women's belt into two Colour Coded Facsimiles, On the Raw Side, Bayley, Now one half the 1st WWE women's tag champion with Sasha Banks (WWE had women's tag belts when there were the WWF, So with the company Name Change!) So people can say to me....

Bayley would retain the belt against Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax and her future Tag team Partner Sasha Banks!

In the Rematch of the match THAT NEARLY BANKRUPT WWE, Cena and Nikki Bella Buried Miz and his Wife Maryse in a match that had a better build than action, with Miz Making fun of the fact that Total Bellas made John Cena out to be the ass-hole he truly is with his house-rules and "Downton Abbey" Style Dinner Parties. Cena would propose to Nikki as E! Camera were filming for Total Bellas and Miz' own show Miz and Mrs!

The smackdown women's match a six-pack challenge was nearly relegated to the preshow But was saved because of 2 reasons. 1) the match was going to be won by Miami Native Naomi,so Media spin of a local winning was a factor 2) Naomi's Fanbase is so toxic that if Naomi has to lose (Because wrestling is a work, well they are reason this joke get used a lot on this blog!


WRESTLEMANIA 34-SNICKERS AND NUTS!
Years after her death the spectre of Lilian Ellison still haunts wrestling! And her secrets would stay buried if WWE hadn't decide to rename the Queen of The Jobbers Battle Royal and even make a trophy of her likeness.

I, like many others, professional or otherwise, were very vocal about this to the point I  do not want To repeat myself! But Despite the Petitions, it took Mars Corporation, The owners of Snickers, who were sponsoring Wrestlemania to threaten to pull out of sponsorship! So the Match dropped the name but still had a trophy and as i joke about it last year, management must have ribbed Snickers because a trophy for a Women's match....

Yeah! looks like THAT!

Naomi won it because if she doesn't win a match she's in...


In the Main show it opened with Charlotte Flair, breaking Japanese Wrestler's Asuka's 2 year undefeated streak, despite bleeding from her hand and not able to lock in the Figure 8 properly, but won the title match anyway . Ronda Rousey debuted and teamed with Kurt Angle against Triple H and his wife Stephanie MacMahon in a easy night at the office for the faces! And Finaly Before she was the Cloddish Unprofessional Facebreaker who's action would shape the women's divsion to the point it has become Main Event at a Mania, WWE tried to convince us Nia Jax was a BBW victim of Alexa Bliss' Fat Shaming as Nia became women's Champion!

WRESTLEMANIA 35-????
This years show in New Jersey will make history!
The Women's Division in 3 and a half decades has gone through Repackage, Revolt and Ruin. As the decade of the 10s close, Let's Ring the Changes! This will the first Year Renee Young will be commentating on a main show for the raw Brand-a first ever, not counting guests over the years! We have 3 Women's Belts in years when once we had none! We know the tag belts will be contested for, the contender for Asuka's smackdown belt will be determined soon (at time of writing) and we have  the reason this series was made, a women's title match will headline wrestlemania as Ronda Rousey defends her Raw Women's title against Charlotte and Becky Lynch

Will this match deliver?
