With 3 uk companies getting tv deals, a lot of tv debuts happened this year, But none, in my Opinion made as much impact as this one!

5starwrestling's time had being a drop in the water, but it's ripples may have changed the course of  how UK wrestling is seen again! Sure, it Introduced Flash Morgan-Webster, BT Gunn, Zack Gibson and "English Lion" Eddie Ryan to new audiences and i'm glad that they are making respective homes in nxtuk and WOS, But let's not act like 5starwrestling wasn't doomed for failure. At the heart of it all The Booking by Dan Hinckles, who booked the homegrown talent like he has made CAWs in wwe 2k18 and gave them no skill points to fight the "real wrestlers".  The show looked shoddy, loose ring ropes, minimalist entrances, and then despite the crowd in Belfast still showing up in the week of The beast from the east Snowstorm before Dan took the money and ran leaving those who spent money on the remaining 20 plus weeks of the tour without a way to get refunds! Hinckles has seemingly dropped off the face of the earth, but with 2 failed companies ending with liquidation and dodgy business practices, Noone will ever take him seriously again!

In the midst of terrible matches with Brock, terrible storylines with Styles, Nakamura's run coming to a screeching halt! Spike not showing Impact ppv's at all and a Public Access channel showing them a month later, this year there has being few ppvs on my blog. so i have only seen 4 matches that have being really that good! over shadowed by a terrible double main event, this year's winner is

As summerslam's opening contest it was up to the ic Champ Ziggler (who's winning the belt in the first place was a surprise to begin with!) The Match had everything the Raw Main event scene had lost: Back and forth action, Drama, Desperation, a Tease of a heel turn by Ambrose, (I guess you can call it Foreshadowing now!), And that Superplex into the Falcon Arrow Sequence will be used in best of 2018 youtube videos til the end of time!, Ending with Rollins Becoming the title's incumbent!

On the flipside, the women division has had such a  glorious year, Despite Crown Jewel, Carmella and whatever the fuck Sasha/Bayley was supposed to be! I omitted the best female match 12 months ago, and since then, from the rumble to Evolution, The women's Division Delivered, in a year the Men Didn't! Giving us the best Feud this YEAR! Regardless of Gender!

With Carmella's title reign the complete antithesis to everything the women's division was working towards this year (You Need a Man to put your over as champion? REALLY?) When Becky Scratched and clawed to get to the title race again at summerslam, People were escatic...until Charlotte was added for no good reason, and when Charlotte stole her friends chance in August the writing was on the wall, so when Becky clocked Charlotte, the last thing management were expecting was the crowd erupting in cheers! And why not? It was years since WWE made Becky seem like a top contender. Actually the biggest fail was not making Becky Heel, but making Charlotte Likable, which was counter-intuitive to her facial expressions and shouts of "My Title" when she lost!
